Greetings, all! My deepest apologies to anyone who has submitted a recent friend request or message; this page has been woefully neglected for a number of reasons. At any rate, I'll do my best to increase diligence in this regard.

Earlier this year, we recorded our fifth album, Irradiance, with a tentative release date of January 2010 (which means that it will, invariably, be omitted from all 2010 best-of lists). The album was recorded with our long-time producer, Jamie King, and by the same line-up as our previous record, The Atomized Dream, and also features a magnificent guest solo by our good friend and Pharoah guitarist, Matt Johnsen. Expect, as always, a different sound.

We'll be posting a track in the next month or so, so please be on the lookout. Many thanks for your continued support.

Our friend Will Stinnett is getting his Custom Guitar shop up and running and needs some help spreading the word around. If you are a musician and play guitar (thats like 10 billion of you right?) then you  need to visit his website and see for yourself  the level of workmanship that goes into each one of his guitars. I'll copy the bulletin out of laziness.
We are 90% with the actual recording process. The endless process of mixing is now upon us. It's now in the hands of Jamie King to work the magic he has worked with us on the last albums. We definitely appreciate his and Chris' efforts on this one.
It's been an interesting ride on this one. Expect a different, new and hopefully interesting direction from the previous albums. The introduction of power tools into the Canvas Solaris has been established (perhaps a pending endorsement from Dewar or any other manufacturer providing the rugged durability required for progressive metal?).
Expect 2 songs from the new guys (Chris and I). Our apologies ahead of time.
We are definitely pleased with the result thus far, even prior to mixing.
Working title on this one (be sure to include on your leaked copy): Heliotrope.
Expected release date (post leaked copy): fall of 2009. We hope not to clash with other platinum record releases (looking at you Britney).
Chris can now go back to listening to Rihanna full time.

We have received our first batch of "official" Canvas Solaris T-shirts. The numbers are limited  but we will be printing more very soon. The shirts will be helping to fund our 2008 live dates. So if you want to see us somewhere other than on youtube you best be buying a shirt!
