I've recently been adding a lot of new non-erotic photographs to my Goedde Images Flickr account. If you're into these pursuits of mine, please visit and add me as a contact. I always welcome any thoughtful criticism. You can also visit my erotic Flickr account for new sexy stuff. If you have an account, just make sure your SafeSearch is off so you can view the nude images.

Holga Pinhole - Los Angeles 2009

(above) This weekend, fellow photographer Christine Kessler and I explored Los Angeles with our Holga film cameras. I shot mainly with my Holga pinhole camera which required me to shoot 8 second exposures. Even though I had access to a tripod, I decided to risk it and shoot the images handheld. I was surprised that the shots came out as well as they did for such long, handheld exposures.

Antique Store, Ventura CA 2009

(above) I also regularly update my iPhone gallery with random captures from the street.

Ulorin Vex, Los Angeles 2009

Ulorin Vex wearing a beautiful neck corset designed by Blacklickorish Latex. Make-up and hair by Cammy Ellis.

Photographed with my Mamiya 645 with 120mm BW400CN film. This marks my first time shooting with a medium format film other than T-Max.

Nicotine, Mojave Desert 2009

Nicotine photographed in the Mojave Desert in June 2009. It was an unusually cool day. I don't think it got above 75 degrees fahrenheit. That made the trip so much more bearable and artistically rewarding than other trips to the high desert.

Oh, and yes, we DID get out of the car. Those photos later!

Shot with the iPhone and processed with CameraBag app.

GoeddeConcerto is now available at CD Baby. For the same price, you can get a signed copy on my site (hint hint!).

Also, the music is now available as a digital download on iTunes. Access it at Robert Waechter - GoeddeConcerto. Since the project is a photography/music collaboration to be experienced tangibly and audibly, in my opinion it makes better sense to own a physical copy of the CD with the 24-page booklet.

GoeddeConcerto

I've been working on this project for almost a year now, and I'm very excited to announce the release of GoeddeConcerto, a CD+booklet of music and photography.

"Robert Waechter, concertmaster of the Philharmonic Orchestra/Opera de Nice, France, and Steve Diet Goedde, internationally renowned erotic photographer, have released an audio/visual collaboration entitled GoeddeConcerto (ReadyMade Music). The CD features 21 mini-concertos inspired by 21 photographs by Steve Diet Goedde. Robert Waechter personally picked the photographs which inspired him and then composed and conducted each individual piece for the CD. The CD contains a 24-page booklet of the photographs to accompany the music."

More information and images available at www.stevedietgoedde.com/goeddeconcerto.htm (copy-n-paste URL cuz Myspace blocks my dirty, offensive site). Signed copies are now available for purchase and shipment.

Join the CD's Myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/goeddeconcerto

The CD will be available through Amazon.com and CDBaby.com within the next few weeks.

This show is going to be HUGE!  I'll be there showing previously unreleased images of Midori wearing Bettie's signature leather opera gloves.  Besides all the art, some of Bettie's personal items will be there, including her high-heeled leather boots.  If interested in going, my advice is to get there EARLY.

I typically don't shoot much in the winter months.  It's cold and the hours of daylight are significantly fewer in number.  So I tend to work on other stuff and revisit work I shot in the past.  So until it starts getting consistently warmer and sunnier, I'll be posting lost and newly found treasures from the days of yesteryear.

Miss B. Havin, Portland 2001

This is an out-take from a shoot I did in Portland in 2001 with Miss B. Havin.  She was photographed in a cool house which belonged to Angela Baldwin who was the hair and make-up artist.  The model was referred to me by my good friend, model, and artist Marne Lucas AKA Gina Velour.  BTW, Marne currently has an art installation called Warlord Sun King: The Genesis of Eco-Baroque in Marylhurst, Oregon near Portland.  Info on her site.
