OK ... So I need to rally all of my wonderful fans together all on the east coast.. I'm on a tour with 9 other amazing artists from Nashville and it's called "Ten out of Tenn" ... the website is www.10outoftenn.com. Look at the tour dates and if we're playing close to you please come out and see us. AND I need to meet a whole lot of you I haven't yet..  Making their debut in the Musical Event category, Ashley Monroe will join The Raconterus with Ricky Skaggs with a nomination for a CMA Award for their song "Old Enough." Country Music's Biggest Night will be held in Nashville's Sommet Center, November 11th, 2009 from 8:00-11:00 PM/ET.

Last show last night... it was amazing.I just woke up in Portland, Oregon. The hotel is practically ON the airport runway so I woke up to the sound of a plane at my window. I have had the most amazing two weeks. I can't believe I got the opportunity to open ... get to know.. and sing with Jewel. Fist song I ever learned on guitar was "Foolish Games". I have met some of the most amazing people out here.. from the runners to and from the venue.. to cab drivers.. to folks on planes sitting beside me. It's been an amazing experience to be able to sing to a crowd who actually listen to every song I play.. and every single word. I have to say Jewel's fans are the absolute best.. they respect music and it was my honor to sing to them every night. I am headed to Sun Valley Idaho today to spend a few days at this wonderful camp for kids who have cancer called Camp Rainbow Gold.. I'm so excited to just hang with these wonderful children who I am sure will inspire me much more than I can even imagine.
Thank you to every single one of you.. I hope to be doing lot's more touring soon and I can't wait to meet all of you.
