What up fam,

This is my first blog on myspace. Not sure what to write but here i go.....

It's been a bit crazy for me. The hard working folks at Siri Music just released my debut album Chasing Forever and it has been a really cool time. As many of you know, my video "Get Away," has been playing on VH1 Soul and BET J as well as radio nationwide. My new single "Love For a While" has just been shipped to radio. Thanks for all the e-mails about it. Well, I'm excited to tell you that we shot the new video for "Love for a While," my duet with Shanice. It is fire and I know you are going to love it. It should hit the airwaves very soon.

So, what else.....thank you for buying the album!!! The buzz is generating and i'm grateful. Thanks for spreading the word.

Well, we are preparing a tour that is going to be great. Stay tuned. It looks like it will be happening in the spring. I can't wait. I'm trying to stay busy in the meantime writing new songs and hitting the gym.

Can't put everything in this one entry but just want to give you a few more highlights of the year. Sang with Frank McComb, if you don't know who he is, then you need to check him out. He's the most amazing singer and pianist (a little Donny and a little Herbie). Then performed with Rachelle Ferrell, now you know I am crazy about her. She not only shared the stage with me but also shared her heart with me. She encouraged me about my gift and it was a moment i will never forget. Met Tania Maria, brazilian singer and pianist who i love. I opened for Kenny Lattimore and Chante Moore recently. The show was presented by Groovevolt.com Many people thought that my background singers and I were lip synching. Now that's hilarious but i guess a compliment. Hung out with my boy John Legend and we did an interview together. Sang with Oleta Adams at the Blue Note. She has inspired me from a far but now i have had the honor of being inspired in person. She encouraged me so much. She said always remember to make music for the "Joy" of making music. It changes lives.

Well, there is so much more brewing but I'll fill you in as I can.
