Current mood:  blah
So this weekend I invited my parents over the house for dinner on saturday they told me that they would let me know. NBD, so over the past almost 3+ years my relationship with my parent has gone down hill and well it was to the point where I just don't care if the relationship gets fixed, I get the feeling that they only want to see me for my kids and that I am just a reminder of the mistake that made them have to get married. I am not sure if that is the case but it feels that way.

I feel no matter how much I talk to them or how much I try to explain how I feel they just don't give a $!t. I have been yelled and put down in front of my son. I am suppose to forgive that and change to fit them. I have talked to a few people who have had problems with my parents and what they say is that if you want the relationship to work you have to become more or less numb to their actions and don't let them get to you. I can't seem to do that.

I am not sure how to deal with this so I am taking the best route I know Distance. The big problem with that is the people I want to see I am not sure they want to see me.

But I am going to do my best to deal with this.

One thing I do have to say is the relationship seemed to get better when my dad was working or had something to occupy his time during the day. Now he is not working and I am just waiting to see if I get an email or call blasting me for my choices.

Bye for now

Current mood:  cheerful
All right so I have been stressing big time about work I am going to be getting a promotion but, I needed to finish a series of online test which I was doing 1 a week to get them done by September which is when I thought I would be up for it because that is my one year anniversary but Nope Konica Minolta does promotions and raises 2 times a year once July 1st and the second January 1st So I had to finish 8 test in 3 weeks which sounds easy but it wasn't it was a lot of time and effort on my part plus as the time got closer the more I stress. But in the end I did finish and my review should be set up soon.

So also I went to my old gaming groups game last week and got to play the Star Wars RPG and I have made up a character with a history and everything so I can play biweekly. It is cool.

So as I posted a few weeks ago I got a new car well I have been hearing noises and I was getting worried that something serious was wrong, all my worry was for not, I had my mechanic check things out and he said it just really needs a tune up so when i am on vacation he is going to be giving the car a tune up and fixing the AC which I decided I needed. He also said I should get New Tires before winter.

So on Wednesday i got to bring my son to work, he had a blast I even made him dress in a button down shirt and dockers so he could look professional. I let him use a screw driver so he could take the safety plates off of the New Machine we installed. I had a blast.

So today Aimee let me sleep till almost 10 I got up and we decided to go Strawberry picking and we did we went to Russell Orchards in Ipswich and Picked Strawberrys, Saw Animals(including this really disturbing turkey), after that we went to our favorite Mexican Restaurant to have dinner, And we are taking it easy this evening.

Tomorrow we might go to a pow wow at the Topsfield Faire Ground then go food shopping.

So here we are Book Number 10, here is the List with the new one added.

1) Grave Peril
2) Born To Run
3) WOD: Skinchangers
4) Strange Alchemies
5) Magnum Opus
6) Saturnine Nights
7) Summer Knights
8) Death Masks
9) Promethean: The Created
10) Death Masks - This is Book Six of the Dresden Files, a great story with some nice surprises and interesting characters. So far of all the Books of the Dresden Series this is my favorite. There are some amazing 1 liners that Harry delivers that had me laughing out loud.

Gaming Books Also Read But Don't Count Towards the Total.
Mutants & Masterminds: Golden Age
Mutants & Masterminds: Instant Heroes

I am currently Reading Scion: Hero the new Game Series from White Wolf where you play the mortal child of a God trying to stop Evil from taking over, the series has a mixed feel of American Gods and the Kevin Matchstick Mages Series by Matt Wagner. One of the thing I really like so far about this game is it is very open ended so the small amount you have on the gods can be expanded on as well as the bad guys and the adventures you run. There is a minor meta plot but you don't have to deal with it. The game is also very adaptable I have been thinking of doing a Fables game using the Rules because it works so well. An Update on Scion I am Almost up to the Adventure that is included in the Book and I hopefully will be done in the week.

That is it for now, I will be pasting the list again like i did here and only the New book will include the Description.

Allright everyone this week I am taking a break from the music(kinda) and we are going with some thing from my youth. This weeks videos has to do with the Cartoons I watched when I got home from School rather than go out and play. So here we go. . .

I am going to start off with the one I had to really Rush home for the Galaxy Rangers a show where these 4 law officers get special powers or their natural powers are enhanced from these badge's and they fight aliens. Now I rented these recently and watched them, Not good at all. But here are the Opening Credits.

Now the coolest Character Shane Gooseman a former supersolider turned lawman he has other powers beside what the badge gives him.

Allright Now One of the coolest show ever M.A.S.K. it had talking cars with weapons and helmuts that gave super powers. The toys where awesome also Karl and I had a lot of them and I wish I had them to show Matt.

Here was a cool part of the Show they assemble the team like Mission Impossible choosing the right character for the Missions and here is one of those scenes.

Allright Next I am going to go with Transformers I don't think I need to say anything else.

Ok here is the fight from the Cartoon Movie of Optimus Fighting Megatron which brought on the downfall of the show.(the Rodimus years)

Here is a small feature of what some of the Transformers are going to look like in the New Live Action Movie.

Here we go with a show that I thought was so amazing but watching it now is just wrong. Thundercats

Now all I am going to post is the Intro because I can't torture you with the "Plot" they tried to have in the show.

Ok Now for the one all the boys used to watch the Real American HERO G.I. JOE, GO JOE

Here is the Original Opening

Now here is the one from the Movie

Now here is the Opening after the Movie.

Now I know that the movie one was more dramatic, but you got to love the classics.

allright here is a Trailer for a Live Action Fan Film I thought was pretty Good

Now that you saw the Trailer here is the full 10 Minute Movie

Next Week Back to Music. later

So here we go for another Video Update, I am dedicating this to my wife who helped me come up with the idea. This update is for Dead Artists. Below every video is a link to their Wiki so you can read more on these Artists

This First one is to the lead singer(Dave Williams) of Drowning Pool singing their hit "Bodies". He was found Dead in his tour bus he died of Heart disease.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dave_Williams_%28musician%29

Now here is one I know alot of girls and guys Mourned for him taking his own life, Kurt Cobain from Nirvana, here is "heart shaped box". Shotgun, Now I owned 1 Nirvana tape I really didn't like them. The reason he even made this was the effect he had on the teen culture when they found out.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kurt_cobain

Now here is one dedicated to my Daughter who I made a special version of this song by John Denver "Sunshine on my shoulders". Plane Crash.

Here is a second video from John Denver from a Christmas Special he did with the Muppets The 12 Days of Christmas.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Denver

Allright now there are so many dead who will be next. I think I am going to for an ex Beatle George Harrison "I've got my mind set on you". George Harrison Died of Cancer.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_harrison

Now that was a cool video, I think Now I am going to go with another guitar man Randy Rhodes doing "Crazy Train" with Ozzy

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Randy_Rhodes

I am going to stick with crash victims for the next Video, Stevie Ray Vaughn singing "Mary Had a Little Lamb". He died in a Helicopter Crash.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevie_Ray_Vaughn

He has done some amazing work but this I have always liked.

Allright who now I am going to go with our other dead Beatle, John Lennon - Imagine. John Lennon we all know was shot to death.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_lennon

Now before I get any comments on how I might be being disrespectful to the Dead I am Honoring these few who have had their Life cut short by some act of fate, all of these artists have entertained you in one way or form. So I am going to add one more just because I can.

These two men were just wrong but everybody pretty much knows who they are because of the odd contraversy they caused by having someone else do their singing. Here is Milli Vanilli with Blame it on the Rain. Robert Pilatus died of a drug overdose in Germany.

That is it for this week I hope you enjoyed.

So at the beginning of this year I set into motion the Reading of 15 books by the end of the year, so far I have 9 plus. The reason there is the plus is only 5 gaming books count. But here is the list so far I have 9 doen and 6 to go. Hopefully I will read more.

1) Grave Peril - Jim Butcher (3rd book in the Dresden Series - Good book I thought it was a bit Slow in coming to a head but worked out in the End)

2) Born To Run (Shadowrun part 1 of 3) - Stephen Kenson (a good start to the series following a up and coming Runner from a small town trying to make it in the Big League, the Second Book Poison Agenda I got more than halfway through and stopped because I just couldn't finish)

3) WOD: Skinchangers - Various Authors (g) (This is one of the first supplements for the NWOD that deals with different shapechangers from different Cultures and those that are completely Different from Werewolves, I enjoyed this)

4) Strange Alchemies - Various Authors (g) (The Second of the Supplements for Promethean Series dealing with the original archetype from the core book and some expansions dealing more with the Classic power of the Promethean)

5) Magnum Opus - Various Authors (g) ( the 3rd Supplement of the Promethean Series, this book deals with the points on the quest of the Promethean to become Human as well as New Powers for the Modern Day)

6) Saturnine Nights - Various Authors (g) (This is the 4th and final supplement from Promethean, This deals with the more scary Futuristic Prometheans Clones and The Nucleur Promethean, as well as the rules for creating new lines of Promethean's and the Human's that stumble onto the secret of Life)

7) Summer Knights - Jim Butcher (the 4th book in the Dresden Series I really Liked it dealt with and upcoming war between the Winter and Summer courts of the Faires)

8) Death Masks - JIm Butcher - (Book 5 of the Dresden Series, Which I just finished late last night is a mystery dealing with the Shroud of Turin and other plot complications that I am not going into so I don't spoil anything a Very Good Read)

9) Promethean: The Created - Various (g) (this is the fourth of the Core Games books from White Wolf it deals with the Myth of Frankestein and expands it to the many cultures that have Legends of the Humans Creating life from Stone, Clay or even Dead Flesh. This game deals with something the other WOD books don't there can actually be an end to the game where the Promethean becomes human. I really like that fact. and is something that drew me to the rest of the Supplements which I only have one more to Read the "Pandora's Book" which is all about the antagonists for the game)

Gaming Books Also Read But Don't Count Towards the Total.
Mutants & Masterminds: Golden Age Christopher McGlothlin - This book deals with the golden age of comics where you could tell the difference between the good guys and the bad. It also give you a short history of the time period so you know what is going on, as well as roleplaying tips for dealing with the Taboos of the Era. All and All a good book.

Mutants & Masterminds: Instant Heroes Michael Hammes - A supplement dealing with already created templates and expanding them, so as a GM you could pick out a template make minor changes and add a name and instant NPC or as a player you have characters ready to go with just a bit of customizing.

That is it for now, I will probally repaste and expand on this list as I finish so I can keep track of what I read.
