i'll push you on as you lean backwards and we can grow and we can change and melt the stones with laughter you know that we are more than all our fears believe i'll kiss goodbye petrified wood and never grieve and i'll say it again i'll kiss goodbye this timid life and never never never grieve

Current mood: artistic
i really recommend that you check out the various remixes on these songs. for those of you who are sick and tired of this recycling process, stay tuned, because some new material is on its way down the pipe. i just need to do it this way, because i need to.
for the rest of you, please take note that even if you think you've already heard these songs, check and see if i've uploaded a remix. the reason i am saying this is because they are being created and refined 100% virtually in Apple Garageband 8 for Macintosh. all the instrumental tracks are fake, by me. the virtue of this is that the arrangements can come out of my head and into your ears with very little of the "telephone game" syndrome. of course, even i can create something and then come back to it and say, "wait - that's not what i wanted at all." but then, i know exactly how to fix it.
are the instrument sounds cheesy? you bet. part of this experiment is the unwillingness to spend a single extra dime on software instruments, just to use what comes free either in the wild on the internet or as factory presents that i can then tweak to my specifications. working through these self-imposed limitations is helping me to learn the way this thing works as well as learning the way i work.
