Once again Reggae/Hip-Hop artiste Tafari teamed up with his dad ‘Big Youth” to create a positive Reggae/Hip-Hop single entitled “Not an easy road”. The rhythm is a production of J.G. and Supa Dups producers of Sean Paul and Estelle popular single "Come over", while the single is a classic Reggae production of Hygrade Entertainment. "Not an easy road' has placed both Tafari and Big Youth up one notch above all the other collaborations they have done. Big Youth is long heralded as a cornerstone of the DJ genre. Along with U-Roy, Big Youth was one of the most influential DJs on the Jamaican scene in the 1970s, helping to develop and popularize the tradition of singers "toasting" over records (a tradition that bears a direct lineage to dancehall and rap), and so it is inevitable that at least one of his children would follow his footsteps.
In time like these songs such as this is definitely the kind of music one expects to hear from a veteran. Over the years many vintage Reggae artistes have tried to get a 'foot in' the market of the younger generation, some competitively and others conservatively. Some have been met with open arms whiles others fail to live up to expectation. While the effort is always deemed as being good for the artiste and sometimes the industry on a whole, the message must always be clear. Having a father and son relate the story of ‘Not an easy road’ in this time when the world is faced with an economic crisis, is a strong representation of two generations positively coming together with words of hope and encouragement for the people.

TAFAR 'AINT NO STOPPIN' VIDEO SHOOT WAS A SUCCESS

REGGAE/HIP-HOP ARTISTE TAFARI

COMPLETED THE VIDEO SHOOT FOR HIS CURRENT SINGLE

"AINT NO STOPPIN"

KINGSTON, JAMAICA TAFARI recently shot the long anticipated video for his current single Aint No Stoppin featuring Reggae legend Junior 'One Blood" Reid at Matches Lane in Downtown Kingston on Wednesday May 14.  The single, depict a trend of pure determination and is in no uncertain terms a follow up from his previous single Rude Bwoy Warning.  'At first it seemed impossible and at times one gets the impression that this 'thing' will never happen', but the 26 year old Rapper entered the unknown with faith and stood his ground.   Still traveling along unfamiliar territories and running across unexpected turbulences but with a name that translates to "fearless one," it is clearly obvious that Jamaica's newest rap-reggae artist, TAFARI, is ready to take on the world.

Call it what you will, his music is only an ..just like the movies) of a young man on a journey that has probably never been traveled in the manner in which he choose.  But good things come to those who wait and so for this artiste it is worth the risk and the effort.  "Nothing in life comes easy" says TAFARI "so if I have to do the things I am now doing to enter the Hip-Hop stadium, then there simply Aint No Stoppin.

In the 'real world' one has to fight to get on top and to stay there.  It doesn't matter who as long as the individual has the inner strength to step out of his comfort zone and coexist.  This is what makes a star and certainly the reason why Rude Boy TAFARI is unique and bold.  Aint No Stoppin is a very courageous step towards a dream and a message to whoever is listening just how strong willed he is ("If life's the Olympics, I'm going for the gold").  Adding fuel to the fire on a deceptively soft hook is Junior 'One Blood' Reid and who else could relate to such efforts other than he who have walk the walk and talk the talk.   What we are seeing is probably the introduction or recreation of a genre called, 'reggae/hip-hop'.  So sound the alarm, because TAFARI is on fire and shows no signs of cooling off, for him, there Aint No Stoppin.

PRESS RELEASE 20.02.08

"AIN'T NO STOPPIN" new single by TAFARI featuring Junior Reid

The moment the single "Ain't No Stoppin" was uploaded to Tafari's myspace, "we have noticed a wave of request coming in from DJ'S across the United States" says Karamo Rowe, Chief Executive Officer, Hy-Grade Entertainment, management company for Tafari.  "A lot of them applaud the artiste for his relentless effort, creativity, original sound and yaad vibe".

Like an on going drill, the punchline "Ain't No Stoppin" is a message of hope and determination, two main ingredients necessary for the making of a Super Star.  Who else can relate to this non stop campaign, none other than International Reggae Artiste Junior 'One Blood" Reid also featured on the single with the Rude Bwoy hussler.  Junior Reid is known in the Industry as one out of many Reggae artiste who has for years single handedly distribute his music across the globe before becoming a popular figure in the InternationaL market, a trait that is similar to that of TAFARI a loner, who has withstand all negative criticism and kept his focus on his goal.

Success comes from unrelentless effort and once again Rude Bwoy TAFARI has delivered another "mind boggler" single, sending his usual Rude Bwoy Warning signal to all his fans and well wishers.  "Ain't No Stoppin" is that new joint in tha hood".
