An album featuring remixes of tracks from the Black Gold Massive album that I produced is due out soon in Japan. One of the latest remixes is my reworking of the track 'Just Make a Move' featuring legendary German Jazz keyboard & vibes player Leni J. Unta and Neil Burditt from Afro Elements playing a gorgeous moog solo. Check it out.

Released as a sampler for the forthcoming ’Future Soul’ compilation on Freestyle Records, these two tracks give a perfect example of what the CD is all about – sweet soul music given a futuristic or modern edge. First up, Black Gold Massive, a group which consists of member of Afro Elements, deliver their glorious, previously unreleased take on Prince’s soul melting "Sometimes It Snows In April". Giving it the all important rub for the clubs is Mr Gone, who adds a bit more bump and grind to the track…perfect for the dancefloor.

Over on the flip is another unreleased gem, this time from US soul sista Trizonna McClendon. Found by Freestyle A&R man Adrian Gibson whilst surfing Myspace, this track has all the ingredients for a classic soul tune. Be sure to check the full length CD coming soon from Freestyle Records

Not much else to say really, but that the MP3s on iTunes at the 'plus' rate - i.e. 256kbps as opposed to the normal bitrate of 128kbps, but for the regular price. £0.79 for the UK and $0.99 for the USA, with iTunes in Europe at €0.99.

It's been a while since I did the remix of the BGM track 'Sometimes It Snows In April', but its finally seeing the light of day thanks to Freestyle Records! The 12" features the aforementioned remix (Mr.Gone's Weekender mix), backed with a track by Trizonna McClendon called 'Trizonna'. The 12" is a promo to promote the forthcoming compilation CD by Freestyle entitled 'Future Soul'.
