There's been a lot of change going on in the SELON RECLINER camp... with name adjustments, new boy Roy on gat... and the imminent release of the new album we thought we should pack up the old band website and move digs to celebrate all that's been going on.

Our new place has got cooshee virtual sofa's and a free bar... so head on over & enjoy some of the new imagery and an aural appetizer of THE ORCHID DOOR...

After having land wars over a myriad of digital sites with the lovely RECLINER boys from San Francisco, we have given ourselves a slightly new identity. It was getting tedious for both us & the SAN FRANS having our wares mashed up in cyber space... and with the new album imminent, action was needed.

We are pleased to be hereby known as SELON RECLINER (we need a bottle of bubbly smashed over our heads or some ribbon cutting to formalise) ... Selon is french for "according to", or "the thoguhts of"... how very apt.

Thanks to michael our fluent french speaking Chinaman drummer, we now have a name that fits us even better & solves our double identity:)

Because Guy is off riding white elephants and wrapping himself in exotic hand dyed & bejeweled fabrics in India, the only thing in our rehearsal room lately that has resembled a guitar player is a sticky note with his name on it that has got stuck to the carpet. I do not have the heart to remove this piece of paper that has obviously fallen off something and now holds some spooky presence & connection to that crooked wry smile and his swaying guitar form.

Well, that was until we found ROY. We now have something that very much resembles a guitarist who at this point is not showing any penchant for elephants or sari's... time will tell
