Comme prévu, nous allons démarrer l'enregistrement d'une pré-production, donc enfin des nouveaux morceaux pour notre nouvel album prévu pour 2009.

Cela se déroulera pendant le mois d'octobre. A suivre...

GUILTY OF REASON

Loin d'être stupide comme une réforme, l'équipe de French-Metal en a bien conscience et se propose d'attaquer de front la bête en commençant les deux cd avec une sélection de quatre combos pas piqués des vers pour le premier disque alors que le second commence avec Klozecore, GUILTY OF REASON, Decline Of Humanity et Necrpsy). Cela a le mérite de plonger directement l'auditeur dans le clash des groupes, dans ce gigantesque pit où les plus violents rivalisent avec des gars plus subtils.....

Il a aussi le second cd qui généralement contient beaucoup plus de découvertes que le précédent. Cette fois pourtant les trois premiers groupes sont loin d'être inconnus (Klozecore, GUILTY OF REASON et Decline of Humanity).....
Faites moi, une faveur, jetez vous y les yeux fermés. French Métal donne tellement au milieu métal français avec cette initiative qu'il serait vraiment bête de lui tourner le dos !

Le second cd est quant à lui souvent composé de groupes encore discrets de la scène française, si certains noms peuvent nous rappeler quelques riffs, tels que GUILTY OF REASON dont le métalcore réussi contentera largement les fans du genre, (…)cette double compilation mérite un squat dans votre hifi.....

WHEN REASON DISPERSES THE DARKNESS OF PRIDE Review

Guilty Of Reason's debut album "When Reason Disperses The Darkness Of Pride" seriously is some heavy piece of metal and certainly not easy to take for the ordinary metal kids out there. One thing is for sure, this album is brutal as hell. These Frenchies play a decent mix of Death, Thrash and old school hardcore that reminds me of old Heaven Shall Burn from time to time. All songs bristle with power, brutality and aggression and therefore make the entire album seem like constant punches in your face, especially songs such as "Straight In My Hate", "My Demon's Song"  -  that appears to be much heavier after the instrumental track "Between Heaven and Hell" - and "Thirst Of Infinite". Due to the high amount of aggression one should not assume that "WRDTDOP" lacks of variety in the songs. Just check the final track "Memory Forces". Breathers, however, are hard to find on this album. Speed and aggression are the quintessence of "WRDTDOP".  Vic (vocals) has a comparatively wide vocal range in this kind of genre and switches from Biohazard-like hardcore shouts to death grunts and one second to the other, he screams his lungs out as if there will be no tomorrow. Not forgetting about the rest of the band members who do a pretty solid job as well.

All in all, "WRDTDOP" is a good album but the rather weak production reduces the pleasure of listening a little and keeps the album from being top-notch.  Anyway, with the right guy behind the mixer these guys can go far and if you are fans of Heaven Shall Burn, Terror, Unearth or even Slayer, you should give this album a try!

Voilà des nouvelles fraîches pour le premier anniversaire de la sortie de notre album :

Tout d'abord, et pas des moindres, nous avons changé de chanteur puisque Vic s'en est allé. Nous lui souhaitons donc tout le bonheur du monde, et nous n'oublierons jamais ces 3 années d'aventures avec lui.
De là, Olivier, ancien chanteur dans Smash Hit Combo, nous a rejoint. Nous sommes tous très fiers de son  implication et de son travail au sein groupe, certains d'entre vous qui ont assisté à nos derniers concerts ont déja pu le voir sur scène avec nous  !

Nous avons aussi quitté le label Underscore Lab et sommes activement à la recherche d'une nouvelle structure qui gérera au mieux les besoins et attentes du groupe.

Comme nous vous le disions plus haut, nous fêtons ce mois ci le premier anniversaire de la sortie de notre album.
Pour l'occasion, nous vous offrons 2 nouvelles chansons, un nouveau visu, le clip video de "Straight In My Hate", de nouvelles banières, des nouvelles chroniques dans notre rubrique "Discographie", des nouvelles photos de groupe réalisées par Steeve Josh et, grande nouveautée, la possibilité d'acheter notre album en Mp3 via le lecteur Believe, chez qui nous avons signé pour la vente digitale de notre album !

Vous nous verrez aussi apparaître prochainement sur les compilations de Fench Metal et de Pavillon 666, celles-ci devraient sortir courant mai !

Here is bunch of news for you.

First of we would like to announce you that Vic (Vocals) has left the band. We wish him all the best and we appreciated all the time we spent together.

The new member of G.O.R. - Olivier (ex Smash Hit Combo) could be already seen by you on stage with us, he we started gigs with him few months ago.
We want to thank him for the hard work and huge determination that he gives into the band.

Other big news is that we split up cooperation with Underscore Lab and now we are about finding new booking agency to support us and to start to benefit tgood collaboration.

In a mean time band works on the new album, we wrote 5 new songs for now, we will keep you updated on going on about the upcoming stuff :)

It's been already one year from realizing the album. To celebrate this anniversary we put up 2 news songs online also new promo pictures (made by Steve Josh) with Olivier, new layout, new reviews of the album were added to discography section and of course videoclip "Straight in my hate" is available on the profile as well.
Moreover thanks to Believe (digital distribution) you have opportunity to download the full album in mp3 .

We will be on the next compilation of French metal and Pavillon 666.
