It has been a while since my last blog as I have been off on a new adventure.

After spending time as a frequent contributor to several great podcast, I finally got sucked in myself and have been co-producing my own podcast!

"The Cup Car Update" is a 5 to 10 minute, biweekly, "News and Information" podcast. It deals only with Nextel Cup related items, is worksafe and contains NO personal editorials or opinions.

The producers ARE NASCAR fans and have made this FOR NASCAR fans!
It is particularly useful for fans who want to keep up to date on Nextel Cup but don't have time to catch the TV sports shows or surf the sports web sites.

So my co-producer Jessica and I have been doing these shows since the Daytona 500 back in February and I had never dreamed how much time this would take up. We are enjoying it though and are pretty pleased with the results.

If you are a NASCAR fan you should check it out and if you know any NASCAR fans I hope you'll pass along the web site (www.cupcarupdate.com) or tell them to look for the Cup car Update on iTunes.

We're pretty proud of the show and would love to share it with as many folks as possible.

Finally got to listen to Michael and Evo's Wingin' It" Show#90 and much to my surprise they played my Evo/Jinglebell mashup.
Just a little gift from me to the Wingnuts! :D


Also, I lazily failed to mention that the Lovely Jessica (frequently found visiting Jack Mangan's "Deadpan" bar ) and I did a little tribute song for Preston Buttons and The Word Whore which they played on their disturbing "Air Our My Shorts" Episode#66, Christmas Episode (OK ... I guess most of their episodes are disturbing).
If you are persistent enough you will find it at the end of that podcast. :)

I created a new segment and submitted it to Jack Mangan's Deadpan and Jack liked it!

"Stolen from the 80s" !

It is basically just a specific twist to his already infamous stolen rap lyrics segment.
I'm glad he like the idea and I'm hoping that a lot of you will contribute stuff to it.
Surely I'm not the only one who had parachute pants?
Eeew. Maybe I should save that for a "Dumb $%.. Memory".

It's the little things in life ...

I recorded and submitted a short essay to Michael and Evo's "Wingin' It" a while back and it actually got aired on "Wingin' It" episode 79!

Truth be told though, I think it was because that was their "Live from the PME party" podcast and when naked, painted women came into the party ... the podcast pretty much degenerated (more then usual).
So I think they were left scrambling for content and I was it.
Still, I'm not to proud to take sloppy seconds! ;)

I hope you'll give it a listen but keep in mind that the rest of the podcast IS live at a party and everyone is having a real good time so it may not be suitable for younger listeners or "office safe".

If you want to skip all that stuff though, my bit is about 21 minutes and 58 seconds into the podcast.

BTW: If this is to be your first exposure to "Wingin' it" try to keep in mind that this isn't typical of their show. You should listen to one or two of their other episodes before deciding you like them or hate them.
