Dear readers of this journal!
It's not just a sweet daydream, but a new song from The Sonnets! The video was shot on the tennis courts and the blue seas of Malmoe, southern Sweden. It was all directed by famous Mauricio Chifflet, accidentally also our drummer. So pour yourself a Pimm's and enjoy, because this is only the beginning. Expect to hear from us soon again.
Until then - stay smooth. /The Sonnets x

Hey folks,
Just been recording one video, that in the end, turned out to be two videos. Our director Mauricio, felt he had just too much beautiful pictures of us. The shooting was done over the weekend. The first day involved some tennis playing, four hours to be exact. After that we were pretty knackered so it was good to go out for some smooth sailing. The weather gods were on our side speaking in terms of light, but the temperature was a bit chilly. However, nice to suck out the last of the summer. The second day we spent in a french hotel lookalike location. There were about 30 people there, from statists to make up and costume. It was all like being involved in some sort of massive Hollywood production. Thanks to everyone involved, and looking forward to letting you see the results. I have seen it, and I have to say, it looked genious.
So long sailors, Per and The Sonnets

Current mood: blissful
Greetings Dear Friends,
Oh, if we could still slide down Brick Lane in our new bought Chelsea Boots. We could pass Sunday Up Market with plastic cups of Cappuccino in our hands. We could hear ballads from Bangladesh turn into hipster tunes from the boutiqes and feel as hungover, tired, happy and alive as we have felt this lovely weekend. We have learned there's no Camden pub called Teddy Flynn's. He's name is Tommy. We know Queens Of The Stone Age has nothing to to with Stonehenge. Mauricio knows he looks just like a London bloke. But so last year. We know the Egyptian suite in a hotel in Osborn Street is the most bizarre room we will ever put our weekend bags in. We know the italian sausage from Broadway Market is to die for. We know Gavin is the coolest drummer this side of Keith Moon. We know visiting Ye Old Axe on the after-strip-hours is like stepping right into an episode of Little Britain. We know we will return soon, very soon. So long sailors,
/Per & The Sonnets x

Folks, We are off to London tonight for a mini-tour and we're all very excited. Before we leave we like to say our thank yous to the people who attended the gig at Malmöfestivalen. It was a great feeling standing on stage overlooking rollercoasters and the Big Square we've been hanging around so mane boring afternoons. Read some reviews at Sydsvenskan and Rockfoto, where you can also see some photos from the show. Now. Shirts need to be ironed. Suitcases need to be packed. Passports need to be found. We'll see some of you in London. Cheers, Per & The Sonnets.

Bonjour,
Just a short note to thank you all for dropping by in the rain at Sommarrock Svedala. For those of you that were there - and - perhaps even more so, for those of you who were not, please check out some films on a modern thing called YouTube.
