A hater is someone who is jealous and envious and spends all their
time trying to make you look small so they can look tall.
They are very negative people to say the least.  Nothing is ever
good enough!

When you make your mark, you will always attract some haters...

That's why you have to be careful with whom you share your
blessings and your dreams, because some folk can't handle seeing
you blessed...

It's dangerous to be like somebody else... If God wanted you to be
like somebody else, He would have given you what He gave them!
Right?

You never know what people have gone through to get what they
have...

The problem I have with haters is that they see my glory, but they
don't know my story...

If the grass looks greener on the other side of the fence, you
can rest assured that the water bill is higher there too!

We've all got some haters among us!

Some people envy you because you can:
     a) Have a relationship with God
     b) Light up a room when you walk in
     c) Start your own business
     d) Tell a man/woman to hit the curb
       (if he/she isn't about the right thing)
       e) Raise your children without both parents being
         in the home

Haters can't stand to see you happy.
Haters will never want to see you succeed.
Most of our haters are people who are supposed to be
on our side.

How do you handle your undercover haters?
You can handle these haters by:

           1. Knowing who you are & who your  true friends are
               *(VERY IMPORTANT!!)

           2. Having a purpose to your life:  Purpose does not
               mean having a job. You can  have a job and still be
               unfulfilled.

A purpose is having a clear sense of what God has called you to be.
Your purpose is not defined by what others think about you.

           3. By remembering what you have is by  divine
                   prerogative  and not human manipulation.

Fulfill your dreams!  You only have one life to live...when its your
time to leave this earth, you want to be able to say, 'I've lived my
life and fulfilled my dreams, Now I'm ready to go HOME!

When God gives you favor, you can tell your haters, 'Don't look at
me...Look at who is in charge of me...'

Pass this to all of your family & friends who you know are
not hating on you including the person who sent it to you.

If you don't get it back, maybe you called somebody out!
Don't worry about it, it's not your problem, it's theirs.
Just pray for them, that their life can be as fulfilled as
yours! Watch out for Haters...BUT most of all don't become
a HATER!

I've been getting an overwhelming amount of messages (voice messages, emails, myspace messages, etc.) from people who feel that I am ignoring them.  It is not in my nature to ignore anyone intentionally and those of you who are closest to me know that.  I am a pretty straightforward person so if I did not personally tell you to stop contacting me then you should understand that I have a million things on my plate right now and is in no shape or form putting you off.  Let me break down the different hats that I wear on a daily basis:

Individual; Child of God; Daughter; Grandchild; Big sister to 5; Niece; Lil/Big Cousin to many; Godmother; Girlfriend (which intertwines with homie, lover friend, and private dective); Best friend; Confidant; Employee; Entrepreneur; Dreamer; Visionary; Artist in all aspect (Singer/Songwriter/Author/Actress); Provider; Protector; Listener; Advisor; Mentor; Role model; Consultant; Lifestyle; and a Target to the fake and phony (Which cause me to be a fighter and close observer each and every single day).   

These are just a few of the hats that I wear on a daily basis so please do not wreck my nerves because I wasn't able to pick up my phone or return your call when you expected me to.  99% of the time when I do return your calls you don't nothing to say (nothing inspiring, positive, and most importanly, nothing that pertains to making $$$$).  If you really want to be helpful to me then take some of this load off of my shoulders and do not burden me with unnecessary drama.  I'm sorry that I'm unable to be available every time you NEED me but the thing is, did you ever stop to think that maybe I NEED you too.  As a matter of fact I do need you…. I need you to quit with all the bullshit!  You have to realize that I'm doing everything that I'm doing, not only for me, but for ALL OF US and a bigger portion is for you (my family and selected friends that I love dearly). 

Again, if you're trying to get in touch with me please know that I'm not "idly" sitting around ignoring your calls (well I won't lie, I do to some people but they deserve it and they know who they are).  But to the ones who I FEEL should know me best, I'm not ignoring you; I'm just really focused right now on doing me!  Sorry if it sounds egotistical and uncompassionate but if I don't take care of me then who will???  I love you guys from the bottom of me heart and sincerely can't wait for the day when I can sit down, relax, and enjoy life with you without any worries or major cares to the world however right now is crunch time and I'm in "Business Mode."  Stop taking shit personally. 

Listen….The country is damn near in a recession right now and the gas prices are higher than Britney Spears.  You got bigger worries in life then me returning your calls.  Make sure you got your voter's registration card updated so that you can go out, vote, and make a difference in this world.  And if that's too complicated for you to do then go out and find me a functional street team for the summer!  (My point is...make yourself USEFULl and then you won't have time to come to the conclusion that "I'm toooooo busy for you!"
