Hey guys, all geekhouse news will now be posted on my wordpress blog:

The past month has basically been spent with my head under a welding helmet. But I did manage to finally get a new whip. It's not bright and colorful at the moment, but that will prob change soon. Also, I finally ended up getting my new powder coating oven delivered! There's also some sneak shots on my flickr of a new collaboration frame I'm doing. This frame is getting our new sublimated finish as we speak and I should have some more pics and details of the project next week. Other than that Henry from the UK's frame is also getting sublimated within the next week or so, did someone say plaid? Well that's it for now, we've got a lot of fun projects coming up in the next couple of months and I can't wait to get them out there. Stay tuned!

A lot of great things happened last month and we now have a bunch of fun projects in the works. Our new sublimated finish as seen on Jesse's bike went all over the interwebs. Check it out on Animal New York, Core 77, Cool Hunting, and High Snobiety.

Also this past month we worked with the City of Boston's 'Bike Fridays' event and I even got a great photo of Mayor Menino holding one of our bikes. The Mayor is really pushing to make Boston a more bike friendly city, so all the power to him. We'll also be supporting our home town by exhibiting at the 'Hub on Wheels' event the end of September.

I wish I could talk about some of the cool collaboration projects coming up, but I have to keep it under-wraps for the time being. But stayed tuned for some pretty amazing stuff!

Is it already August, really? I finished Jesse D's bike, which is absolutely ridiculous. Curved seat tube, triple triangle stays, and sublimated powder coat. This is a new process that we are offering which allows basically any digital graphic to be fused into a powdercoat.

We also finished Andrew M's, and his complete build came out great. Check out the chrome powder coat on the fork, its not plated chrome but it looks pretty close!

Also, thanks to our friend James we now have a Series II Bridgeport CNC in the shop. We hope to be having this machine running in the near future, so keep posted for updates. Also, it took us about 6 hours just to move this thing from the street into the shop!

Thats it for now, stay tuned for new projects!

This past month went by so quick! I've really been trying to work on some different projects lately as well. I just finished the first Geekhouse  'Mudville' cyclocross frame. And Fitzy and I have been busy build a new 26" jump/park bike. I also have a couple of new track frames with some curved seat tubes in the mix. Also, one of the new track frames even has a level top tube! Wow, I can't believe there's actually a level top tube track bike from geekhouse!...;) Other than that I got a few beautiful Rockcity frames out as well and they really came out quite nice, not to toot my own horn. Stay tune this coming month to the flickr page, I have a new 'show' bike that's going to be pretty amazing when it's finally finished...

Peace,

The last month was a lot of fun, and we got a lot of work done!
The only bad part was my bike got stolen right out of the back of my car in Boston! If everyone could keep a look out for a blue geekhouse with a white fork, that would be greatly appreciated. There might even be a reward for it, if it's found.
The Open House was a really fun time, we had about 100 people stop by the shop over the course of the day. Bold Sprints went off without a hitch.
The Redbones block party was also a great time. And I'd like to thank Mark B for all his help in making the trade show booth for that.
Also, our waiting list is currently between 3-4 months on frames. So before we get too close to Cross season, I'd like to start a special waiting list for the new Geekhouse 'Mudville' cyclocross frame. Details will be to follow, but basically I want to do a small batch of these ready for the upcoming season. Please email if interested.
Other than that, I'm working on some pretty special bikes this month, so stay tuned to flickr for new pics. Thanks!

This past month was great, I got a bunch of track frames out the door and I got to work on a fun project: Frankendork. I've already posted this on the wordpress blog, but it's gotten some good press on Animal New York, Not Cot, FixedGearGallery, and on Urban Velo.
Also, May is National Bike Month! I'm going to be showing off bikes at Redbone Party, and hopefully the NYC Bike film festival.
Then of course there's the:

Geek Open House happening on Sunday May 18th. Also, I've got Harpoon as the official beer sponsor!!! And this is the current schedule of events:
Bike Polo in Allston 12pm
Meet and Greet 2pm
BBQ 2pm-4pm
Shop Tours 2pm-5pm
Bold Sprints 5pm-7pm
Ghettodrome 8pm
Afterparty Zuzu 9pm

Thanks!

The last month has again been pretty crazy! I'm finally settling into the new space, and have been working just about 7 days a week to get a large batch of Rockcity's completed. And we now officially have a new powdercoater and things are looking great.
Also, I ended up getting a sweet Bridgeport milling machine, which I named Steve. Other than that we finally got up the new custom page, and the new online fit form. Check out our body measurement image...;)
I'd also like to announce that next month in part with National Bike month, and the Baystate bike week. Geekhouse is going to be doing an 'Open House' on Sunday May 18th from 2pm-late. Everyone is invited, and we'll be offering BBQ, Beer, and Bold Sprints!

Thanks guys!

So this past month was absolutely crazy. I got a new space, had to completely renovate the new space to my needs, then moved the old shop, then went to the NAHBS show, and now I’m trying to catch up with the current list of orders. Thanks again for everyone that helped out with the renovation and shop move!
Also, congrats to Zach K on his sweet finish in the Winter Splinter comp, nice job man!
I also want to say thanks to Nick M for including geekhouse in the Bold Sprints! Every time I race, I feel like I’m going to puke for about a half an hour after!
In other news this month I’m introducing the geekhouse custom program. This means I’m offering a few new models of frames: including road, cyclocross, 29er, and more... all in custom sizing with a few custom options. Details to follow under the product section. This is good news to those who thought I would only build pursuit style frames...;)
Other than that I finished up Dan St.G’s bike and put a few pics on flickr.

That’s it for now,
thanks guys! -Marty

So as of Feb 1st Geekhouse is finally moving to Boston (Allston) Mass. I have been wanting to move the shop out here for a couple of years and I finally found the perfect space. Thanks so much to everyone who helped work on the space this past weekend, especially Mark B. Thanks also to everyone who has been patiently waiting for their frames. Check out some pics of the new shop on the flickr site.

Also, Im headed out to the North American Handmade Bike Show in Portland this week. Im not exhibiting but will be helping out Mike from ANT bike as much as I can. If your out in that area hit me up!

Thanks guys!
