I am selling a Yamaha AW2818 16 track hard disk recorder as i have no use for it anymore.

Google it if you want the full spec but basically it will record 16 channels of anything you want. It has  guitar input direct in.its got a 60GB hard drive already installed and can be upgraded in the same way as a PC. it has XLR and phono out as well as headphones, 16 In (obviously!), It will rip and write CDs on its own (no software required).

Im also throwing in a multicore (for recording all 16 channels at once, say for drums). A hard flight case and stand. its been used maybe 4 times in its entire life and is complete with manual etc etc etc. Worth about £1300 - Selling for 650 or your best offer. Delivery not really the best option as its about 2 foot wide and a foot high and heavy(ish).

Hopefully this will give people a bit of insight into what the PCP Principle is about and what its primary goals are...there is a bit of a concept behind it that i felt was worth explaining...

As you may or may not know PCP is one of the more potent drugs - i would say "available" but it really isnt, or is at least under the status of legendary or mythical in terms of its use or availability.

The PCP Principles concept stems back a few years..and i cannot remember for the life of me remember who i had this conversation with but it went something like this -

*2 hours of talking about drugs, common and rare*
PCP comes up in conversation via person asking if i ever tried it, neither of us knew anyone who had.We began talking about its effects and supposed use / experimentation during WWII as a catalyst for creating super soldiers.

The idea of everyone in the world simutaneously taking PCP came up as a bit of a joke...obviously that would be a total nightmare because of the drugs stupidly horrific effects!

Anyway...like i said i cant remember who i had the conversation with, but i couldnt stop thinking about what that world would be like...honestly an image of real hell....imagine it, all the most respectable, intelligent people - and all the most violent, sick, mentally twisted individuals all acting in the way that PCP is known to affect people...

I have had dreams about "scenes" from this image since i started thinking about it. As pretentious as it sounds it is true and my music is the only way i can relate the images to anything...

One scene involved an American man storming into an office armed with firearms and shooting the place to pieces - where upojn the police (also on PCP) came to arrest him but instead hung, drew and quatered him and mounted body parts on the fronts of their cars. The victims who werent killed in the attack were taken to hospital. where obviously all the staff were under the effects too and began sticking needles in places for fun and administering drugs into the wrong body parts....

Anyway i think you get the idea....The concept behind the PCP Principle is to retell some of these stories/dreams as music - specifically it follows one man and tells the story through his eyes...The tracks relate some of the effects and visions of this man and the things he experiences..Im not going to explain each track because they arent neccessarily going to make much sense if I explain them...but bear what you have read in mind when you listen to a track and im sure you will see what i mean!
