Children of the Earth, Joe Reilly 2008 West Coast Tour
Joe Reilly is a singer, songwriter and environmental educator at the Leslie Science and Nature Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  His way of working with children is empowering, inspiring, and educational.  Offering an interactive musical program called Children of the Earth, Joe helps people of all ages deepen their relationships with themselves, each other, and with their natural environment.  Appropriate for preschool through middle school, Joe brings smiles to audiences while teaching ecology and environmental stewardship with creative lyrics, interactive movements, and catchy melodies.

Reilly is Italian, Irish, and Native American (Cherokee) and has recorded four albums, releasing Planting Gardens in 2006, an album of multicultural spiritual activism that includes excerpts from a talk given by spiritual teacher and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh.  In 2007 he released his first children's album, "Children of the Earth," environmental songs for kids of all ages.  It is through the active sharing of his music that Reilly hopes to inspire and empower people to heal their relationships with themselves, each other, and the earth.

In our efforts to continually support the wonderful pool of musical talent out there, we are now offering special discounted advertising rates to musicians and to some affiliated businesses.

We know how important it is to get your name and your message out to the public and how difficult it can sometimes be to find the budget to achieve that so the SAN DIEGO TROUBADOUR wants to help you attain your goals.

You can advertise upcoming Events, Gigs, CD's, Lessons, Services or just YOU! We give you a FULL MONTH of visibility for way less than the weekly papers and we target a music loving audience. We can even produce the ads for you and we'll give you our musician friendly rates on that too!

You can also advertise for pennies a day on our website, (www.sandiegotroubadour.com) if that's more your style or talk to us about advertising in both medias for less than your daily Starbucks costs you a month! Take charge of your own success and let people know what you have to offer.

Our distribution and visibility is healthy and growing and our readership is loyal and dedicated. We're offering you the opportunity to join a winning team now. And if you're a writer looking for bylines we might be able to assist you as well.

So whether you're a musician, or support music we're here to help you build your business.

Please contact us at our MySpace page or through the SD Troubadour website for more information.
Thank you!

February's Parlor Showcase - The Grams

"This music drifts in like a nag champa haze over the Appalachian range, leaving a rarified mist of joi de vivre in its wake. The Grams start with a compelling admixture of east-meets-west aesthetics; then they add superlative old-school songwriting and vocal harmonies, and pound in the final nail with a prodigious lineup of multifaceted musicians."

Excerpt from a review of The Grams self-titled CD by Simeon Flick
