A handful of people have read the blog issued by a musician that is known for blaming every body else for his misfortunes. In this case Fiendforce Records is now taking the blame.

That person is calling Fiendforce a fascist label, and it’s co-founder a Nazi. People who have read the blog will realize that this rant comes from a confused mind and cannot be taken seriously. Since some people actually believe some of these weird accusations, we are addressing them here.

Obviously we are not fascist and everybody knows that. Coming from a person that calls everybody fascist and has expressed his own right-wing opinions many times, this accusation is laughable at best. Fiendforce has always been anti-racist and has supported that anti-fascist stand countless times. We have taken part in many anti-fascist actions. We do not tolerate Nazis and – like every sane person should – try our best to prevent racism in our scene and in society!

We have also never prevented any band from coming to Europe. We do not have the power to influence every magazin and every booker here and don’t have the time to even try. We have more important things to do than starting a campaign against this person’s band. The tours that have been cancelled by this band were cancelled due to this person’s illness from what we were told by promoters, but this person feels the need to blame somebody else for this.

We have indeed voiced our opinion about a now irrevelent movement that tried to support right-wing ideas in Punk-Rock music and this person has taken an active role in that movement. We feel that as individuals we have to right to address this subject. We don’t see why were are to blame for something that wasn’t started by us. AND: It is not only Fiendforce Records but also pretty much every other band, journalist, booker, etc. who believe that fascist tendencies have no place in Punk-Rock. Not yesterday, not now, not ever!

We have brought many bands - from the US and from all over the world - on tours to Europe and have supported the scene with all our power but we do not feel the need to help anybody who feels like he has the right to deserve a tour here and voice his right-wing opinions in clubs that exist because their owners and activists have always taken a stand against oppression and fascism.
