Brief:
The
Antidote and Neocha.com team up to search for China's new electronic
music talent. Using Neocha.com’s online platform, a nation-wide search
will be undertaken for un-signed, independent electronic musicians and
producers. Two winners will be chosen at the end of May 2009 with a
debut show in Shanghai to follow.
Contestants may enter new music productions on Neocha.com.
Sponsors include Ableton Live Software, and Vedett Beer.

Specs and Rules
All contestants...
1) are not signed to any recording label.
2) must reside in China during the competition.
3)
must enter the contest by adding new songs to their Neocha.com music
page and submitting through the official event page

4) may be solo acts (1 person), or up to a maximum of 4 people in the act.
All entries (songs) must follow these rules...
1) No samples. No remixes. Only 100% original compositions accepted.
2)
If chosen, composer must provide PROOF of original composition --
including photos of gear used, detailed explanation of methods, list of
software/hardware/instruments used.
3) Songs with vocals are accepted, in any language, but must be original vocals, no cover songs.
4) Song length should be between 3 minutes (minimum) and 10 minutes (maximum).
There will be 2 categories, with one winner from each...
1) Introverted >>> ambient, neo-classical, IDM, downtempo, trip hop, glitch, dub/dub-step, etc.
2) Extroverted >>> dance/club music like techno, house, electro, hip hop, drum n bass, etc.
(* there might be some cross-over music like IDM and Mimimal that works in either category; judges will decide)
Song entries will be judged on...
1) Production quality.
2) Originality, creativity.
3) Structure and form.
The
judges are The Antidote team, including a group of experienced music
producers, record industry veterans, event promoters, and music
journalists.
Winners get:
- Each winner gets one free ABLETON LIVE 8 Software.
- Each winner gets 1 free customized case of Vedett Beer.
- All expense paid round-trip to Shanghai for one weekend in June or July 2009 (flight + 2 nights hotel). *
- Paid performance slot at Antidote party in Shanghai (flexible dates).
- Winning song released on future Antidote compilation CD (optional).
- Free Antidote and Neocha t-shirts.
* If the winner already resides in Shanghai, they will be offered an option for another city where the Antidote performs.

活动详细信息：

规则：
报名者必须：
1. 目前未签约唱片公司
2. 活动期间在中国（2009年4月-7月）
3. 注册为Neocha音乐人用户，通过上传作品获得唯一域名地址，并通过官方活动页面提交作品地址（http://www.neocha.com/-/web/antidote/index.jsp）
4. 作者可以是一个人，也可以是组合，但最多为4人
参赛作品必须：
1. 必须是原创作品，不能重新混（Remix）他人作品，不能使用明显的采样（Sample）
2. 最终入选，作者必须证明作品的原创性，并提供使用的软件/硬件/机器清单与制作方法阐释
3. 长度介于3分钟到10分钟
作品风格方向限定在以下两类，最终我们将在这两类风格中各选择一个优胜者：
1. 聆听类：ambient, IDM, downtempo, trip hop, glich, dub, dub-step等
2. 跳舞类：dance/club music like techno, house, electro, hip hop, drum n bass等
（若作品交叉包含上述两类风格，由评委会进行最终判定）
评选标准：
1. 整体质量
2. 结构和形式
3. 原创性
评委会由The Antidote成员组成，他们中包含具有丰富经验的音乐制作人、唱片业执行人、活动策划人、音乐评论人。
优胜者可以获得：
1. ABLETON软件。
2. 一箱印有你头像的白熊啤酒
3. 往返上海演出的机票和两晚酒店住宿（2009年6月或者7月的一个周末）
4. Antidote party的演出费用。
5. 作品将入选未来Antidote合辑唱片（由作者决定）
6. Antidote和Neocha的T恤衫。
* 如果冠军居住在上海，将提供另外一场Antidote party异地演出的机会。
