Dear All

We hope you all had a great summer.  As you know we are gearing up for the release of our new album 'Less Is More'  If this is the first you're hearing about it then where have you been?!  Head over to www.marillion.com and check out full details.

We have one week of tour rehearsals left and we're looking forward to what we hope will be our most relaxed and spontaneous tour ever. It's also going to be a challenge for us to play musical instruments you wouldn't normally associate with Marillion. Wish us luck..

At the times of writing this we're happy to say that most of the gigs are either sold out or close to selling out so head over to www.marillion.com/tour and grab the final tickets and we'll hopefully see some of you out on the road.  Sorry again to those of you who write to us from all over the world wanting to see a show in your own country - for our explanation on why we can't always tour the places we want to please look at our website;  http://www.marillion.com/tour/info.htm

As with the Happiness Is The Road Tour 2008/2009, we will be recording most of the shows and putting them up for download on our site as soon after the gigs as possible.  We hope you enjoy them.

See you soon!

NEWS FROM RACKET RECORDS

Some things we realised that you may not know about.  Firstly our very own Mark Kelly has his own Twitter page - follow him as he often has some very interesting things to say!  www.twitter.com/markke11y

We now have an 'App' for those of you who have an IPhone - go to the Apple App Store and search for Marillion and there we are. It includes, videos, puzzles, gig listings, exclusive wallpapers and more.

Finally - As you may or may not know we have a worldwide team of fan clubs.

You may have seen communications from us in the past where we talk about 'Web Members' as each fan club is called 'The Web'.   Every year each fan club gives their members a free CD which comes directly from the band.  A list of previous fan club CD's can be found here to give you an idea of the kind of stuff we do http://www.marillion.com/web/xmas.htm.

This year we are pleased to announce that for the first time we will be giving Web members a free DVD!  This will be a DVD of the Cologne Happiness Is The Road Tour concert in 2008 - we're calling it 'Snow De Cologne'.  Full track listing details will follow soon.  So make sure that your membership is up to date or join before December 1st to guarantee yourself one.

Hello everyone

We hope you're enjoying your summer holidays.  You'll be pleased to hear that we have finished mixing Less Is More and we're in the final approval stage before it goes off to be mastered next week. (It's sounding marvelous btw.)

As well as having another episode of Racket TV for you over the next couple of weeks (for those of you who don't know what we're talking about please check out www.youtube.com/marilliononline, we should be able to reveal the tracklisting and artwork to you very soon, along with details of how you can buy it!

If you want to hear a sneak preview of a couple of the tracks then see if you can make it to Trafalgar Square next Tuesday 1st September at 8.00pm.
Long time Marillion fan Richard Loveridge is taking part in the One and Only art display and will be standing on the 4th vacant plinth for an hour!
http://www.oneandother.co.uk/about/plinth
Who knows? One (or maybe all) of the band might show up for a look!..

Richard wrote to us wanting to know if it would be OK for him to use part of his hour to talk about his history with Marillion and play a couple of the new tracks from Less is More and we thought that could be a great occasion!

For more details on Richard please visit:
http://www.oneandother.co.uk/participants/Bingo_McDingoand pledge him your support.

If you can't make it to London you'll be able to watch Richard live online (and hear the tracks of course!)

See you all soon
