Fri Nov 20th- 6PM Pick Up for Cairns

Week two of my Australian tour with the first stop all the way up north in the sunny state of Queensland I played in Cairns at a club called Gilligan’s. My pickup was at 6pm, off to Sydney airport for a short 2 hour flight.

8:30pm Checked into the very nice Rydges hotel, straight into work I got all my music sorted for the night, ordered some dinner via room service with a glass a wine to go and it was time for the gig. Gus the promoter picked me up.

12:00pm at the club ready to rock the house, I really liked the venue it was funky, cool and everyone was super nice. Couldn’t wait to get up there and play them my tunes. The crowd was awesome, felt a real connection with them.

Thanks to all that came down I really enjoyed that.

Back to the hotel for some much needed rest until my afternoon pickup for a flight to Brisbane.

Sat 21st of Nov- 5pm flight to Brisbane

Cairns was awesome the next stop was Gold Coast via Brisbane, was a quick flight, went up and went down. The car ride from Brisbane to Gold Coast took just over an hour got in at 10pm just enough time for a quick shower and to sort my music out. Was really looking forward to playing at Platinum the last time was awesome.

Headed to the club at midnight to be greeted by the legendary Joey who is not only 'the man' of Platinum but also a good mate. In the DJ box I met my new tour buddy Timmy Trumpet who was rockin the crowd. A quick shot of tequila to get into the swing of things and off I went. During my set I had a few surprises with old friends popping up at random, always a buzz to see them coming to my shows.

Finished my set at 3:30am and rocked on with the crew to the early morning, not much sleep for me that night my pick up was 10:30 am  didn’t matter the weekend was so jam packed, my bed in Sydney was waiting for me hehehe.

A big thank you to everyone in Cairns and Gold Coast for coming out too my shows, really appreciate the love and support it’s such a buzz playing in front of the home crowds.

Week one.

13^th Nov- Touch down 6:30am

Brilliant got to love flying in comfort thanks to Quantas for their comfy seats. Kicked off my Oz tour  nice and early arriving at 6:30am to be picked up by my tour manager Dom, 1^st stop was breakfast with my aunty Jenny at my favourite cafe in Kings X yummmmmmm.

Next stop was to get pampered, pedicure, manicure and massage ahhhh bliss, then i slept till the afternoon to catch up on some much needed sleep after my 24 hour flight from London.

First gig was at Trademark Hotel, Kings X. Thanks to all who came down was fun to rock the place after being away for so long, had a early night the jet lag set in and Saturday was a huge day ahead.

14^th Nov- This is going to be a tough one 10:00AM

Not much sleep from the night before and two gigs in two cities too get through was always going to be a tough day. Down to the lobby to catch a ride to the 1^st gig the SHE boat party, shared the limo with Eddie Thoneick that was a funny trip.

On to the boat we get, and a wicked boat it was 800 people going nuts to every track, i really enjoyed playing my set whipping out a few classics to bring back the old house days, the atmosphere was awesome and the surroundings even better you cant beat djing under the harbour bridge or in front off the Opera house hehe. Later in the day i got the pleasure of djing along side Steve Edwards, his vocals are amazing!!

Next stop Melbourne, off the boat and onto the plane no rest in between. Touched down at 8:30pm and checked in by 9pm, a quick shower and our ride was downstairs to take us to the club. Tepanyaki and sushi for dinner at Silk Road where the gig was, very convenient to say the least.

Silk Road was a schnazzy club, the set out was great. Thanks to Big Dog Entertainment for having me play, the crowd was awesome the club had a really nice vibe, a big thanks to my Melbourne fans for coming to the show. 

Finished my set at 2:00AM 4 days of travel, 5 flights and 3 gigs later it was time to call it a night and end my first week tour in Oz, ahhh my bed was so comfy J.

Just thought i would share with you my new mix http://www.sendspace.com/file/xa2zvy and give you a update on what happened in september :)

If the summer was slowing down September surely didn’t reflect that. Full steam ahead with interviews, dj awards and some amazing closing parties filled my September.

A highlight on the road was the Techno Parade in Paris with 400 000 fans chasing dj’s on floats was an incredible experience, CRAZY to say the least!

I had the honour of hosting the pre- dj awards for Pioneer and Sonica, once again the mic was my best friend, meeting some of the up and coming dj’s and seeing old friends was awesome.

To cap off a memorable September the season’s closing parties were in full swing, a big thank you and congratulations to the Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta on their successful seasons and for having me as their resident. 

Enjoy the last rays of sun while you can, Peace out.
