After several great years of providing our unique style of easy listening music to millions of fans all over the Twin Cities metro area, Iced Ink will be playing our very last show at Big V's on August 28th. I (this is Micycle the guitarist) am leaving Minnesota with my wifey, cats, and guitars to pursue whatever musical endeavors await in NYC.

It was not an easy decision for me to make because this band has been like a gigantic middle finger to mainstream music and fun as Hell to play in, which was the point of it all in the first place. But after going to New York it was pretty clear that if I didn't at least attempt to survive and make some music there I'd be kicking myself when I was old. Or having someone kick me, rather, and tell me what a dumbass I was for never trying... I'm guessing when I'm old my knees won't be that flexible.

Hope to see a lot of you at Big V's... there will be many a tear in many a beer that night, I'll tell you that much. Either that or we adopt the all too overused "let's not look at it as the death of Iced Ink, but a celebration of its life" cliché. Yeah, that's cool I guess. I'm going to miss yous fuggin' guys, Joe and Barry.



And you too, Audience.



Oh wait... we never really had much of an Audience. I KEED, I KEED!! Well... kind of.
