hiya...

just wanted to say thankyou soooooo much to everyone who made it down to NSC on tuesday night to hear us play the goodbye girl... the crowd was great and really nice... I gotta admit I haven't been enjoying shows for a while now but I had a great time on tuesday... having dan back playing with us made me happier than I've been in a long time. So I guess if any of you are around please come along again this tuesday to hear Main St... this whole process of playing the old albums from start to finish has been really sentimental for me... I can remember falling in love when we were writing goodbye girl... just like I can remember it ending as we were rolling out main st... been living through it all again playing those songs... its funny how those albums will always represent very specific moments in time for me... hopefully it does for some of you as well... if they do it'd be nice to hear what was going on in your lives when they came out... feel free to share.

I just wrote a song about feeling nothing and wishing i felt nothing. it seems nothing stays the same anymore, just the feeling and ticking in my brain. so if you came along to a show on the last tour thanks. and if you've jumped ship recently then who could blame you? there's salvation at the bottom of the sea and anchors and mermaids and old friends and lovers. this is my space so I'm taking it back. remember how we used to be and how we'll never be again. i look at the pavement, not the horizon (thanks brother).
