Back to the Future is a hands in the air piano rave-a-thon that sounds great on a big system. After ripping it up just before Pete Tong took to the decks at Gatecrasher in ..Nottingham.. (spun by Spectrum head honcho Pete Jordan) - it's already been signed up to Spectrum records.

Remixes are currently being worked on :)

Spike is a Booka Shade type track which was inspired by my DJ set at Space, Ibiza last summer. It's produced under my new alias Mattias van Phantom - which is to concentrate on the more deeper style of lush house. This bass driven wonder works a treat on a club system with people asking at the DJ booth "What's this track?" whenever I play it. Which is always a good sign. :-)

On Saturday night I debuted my new album project Rococo Nice at London's Big Chill Bar.

It's a bit electronica, a bit housey, a bit pop and throughly good time music!

It was a great gig with us showcasing a number of new tracks and Andrea my star vocalist from Rococo Nice also jamming over my DJ set.

It went down a storm!

The crowd were going wild...quite funny considering it was the 1st time they'd heard the tracks. Happy Days!

We've heard of girls demanding DJs keep their Phantom Tees on whilst shagging so we were happy to receive this email:

"Whilst having my normal work out at the gym (Endurance wasn't built in a day) sweating my @rse off listening to the Phantom Beats greatest hits on my ipod shuffle- a brunette (bout 27 I'd say) walked over! O' I like your t-shirt (Nb the black PB logo t-shirt you gave me a few years ago- which has been relegated to gym use)..."thanks very much, are you a phantom fan?" I replied. "what do they do then?" (the shock!)...so after explaining that you are in fact a bunch of clarts who mix music, sponsor my football team and know Boris Johnson...anyway, I concluded that the PB t-shirt obviously gives you 10% more pulling power than say a normal plain black t-shirt!"
