Well, its been a long time coming, but my latest promotional single, 'Waste Away' has just been released to radio stations & music video channels Nation wide!! HOW EXCITING!!!

About 'Waste Away'...
I love this song.  I loved it when I first wrote it & I remember Rick O'Neil (the guy that mastered the track for radio) saying:

"Who say's you don't have a 'radio friendly voice'!! - This is the most radio friendly track I've ever heard! I want to send this to Mark Holden!!"

'Waste Away' puts a smile on my face every time I listen to it :) Along with many of my songs, is about never giving up…as you know, I'm a pretty determined gal!

It's a song that always motivates me when I'm feeling down - and we've all been there! It reminds me to stay hopeful and search inside myself for courage & strength – to be grateful for what I have, instead of worrying about what I don't have… I hope it has the same effect on you…

The purpose of the single is to promote my debut album, 'Note To Self' which was released late last year.  This is my first single since the album release, so we're hoping that anyone who hasn't yet bought the album will rush out & grab a copy or download it from iTunes :)

I'm sure you already have your copy :)... so this is just a reminder to let all of your friends know how much you love it!! Send them a link to the website or myspace site! Or maybe add a promo banner to your Myspace page etc. There's a lot you can do to help get the word out there :)

BREAKING NEWS!!!

Hayley has been selected as one of 3 Adult Contemporary finalists in the New Artist 2 Radio (NA2R) Showcase run by Commercial Radio Australia!  

She is now competing to win a share of $150,000 radio advertising!!  So please head to the NA2R site (www.myspace.com/newartists2radio) and leave a comment of support for Hayley on their page! 

The finalists will be judged by a panel of commercial radio network program and music directors, based on their commercial radio play potential and the winner in each section announced later this month. The winning act in each genre will perform at Crown Live in Melbourne on October 12 before radio industry leaders and heavyweights with one artist then chosen to perform the following night at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs)
