3 years since I hopped on MySpace and it's still wonderful to hear from friends and fans around the world. Peace and carrots to all those new and old acquaintances from the Bunnyboy!

Ok...I know it's not quite 2009, yet but I wanted to wish all the friends, old and new, a very Happy New Year.
2008 had some great moments for me and I hope to have more in the coming year. I will be posting some new music soon. My health is pretty stable right now...so that's always a plus. And yes, all the bunnies are doing well too- especially Finnegan, who was rather ill a few months back but is back to his old self again.
So to friends around the world -say hello when you can and Happy 2009.

Current mood: jubilant
Finnegan is home and happy to be here. Baxter ran up to him and started grooming him when i let him out of the pet carrier. He had a good appetite for his dinner. Not a fan of his evening meds, but as I checked on him on a few minutes, he was in a favorite spot, drowsing off to sleep,Baxter next to him. ..looking very content to be home.

Current mood: happy
Fiinnegan has really bounced back. He had a kidney infection but thanks to antibiotics some fluids and the excellent care of our vet, he is back to his old self. Appetite is good- attitude is good- body functions good...He will just stay one more day in the hospital and we will be able to take him home tomorrow morning. My wife and I plan on visiting him at lunch, and I'm sure he will be quite happy to see us. Baxter has been looking for him each night around the house and i'm sure she will also be happy to have him home.
Thank you to everyone who sent good thoughts and kind words while Finn was under the weather. I truly appreciate it.

Current mood: hopeful
I got a call from the vet this morning. Mr. Finn seems to be recovering and is responding well to fluids and antibiotics. The vet said he was a bit "feisty" this morning, which seems to me a positive sign-since Sunday night he was practically immobile. He'll stay another night there and tomorrow they'll do more blood work on him, I hope he continues to improve and can come home.

Finnegan is my 5 year old blonde lop rabbit. I've had him since June 2007, when my wife and I adopted him from our local chapter of the House Rabbit Society. Since he's made his home with us he has been a wonderful member of the household. He even bonded with another rabbit Baxter. Over the weekend, he suddenly became gradually lethargiic. His appetite, always good, dropped off and he wanted no hay, pellets, or greens. We made sure he took water using a syringe , and Sunday night he perked up a little nibbling on some lettuce. His hopping had slowed a bit. But he definitely needed to go to the vet. In his younger days, he was prone to stomach blockage due to furballs , but has been feeling good for months, so his crashing like this was sudden and unexpected. Fortunately, we go to a marvelous vet who really understands Rabbit health well. Some tests were done and no, it wasn't stomach blockage but his kidneys and liver aren't doing so well. It could be a virus. So he is staying overnight at the vet at least until wednesday to see if some antibiotics and some saline can bring him back. I hope it does.

Current mood: calm
Back from a wonderful vacation in St. Lucia, I really needed the rest. But it's true like the t- shirt I saw says,"Time flies when you're having Rum." Look for some new stuff on the site soon. I have a bunch of half finished songs I've been working on all summer, but i'll throw some old favorites up later this week like" The Id Kid" and the extended version of Goth Girl Goes Out" for October. So I hope everyone enjoyed their Summer...My favorite season is Autumn (usually a good time for spiced apple wine) and hopefully will have a healthy one, unlike last year. Sadly, one after-effect of my health problems is I just can't get out much for nightlife anymore. Strobe lights mess me up.
I've also been working with a finny friend called The Shark for a weekly Saturday night show on NowLive.com -his profile is in my top friends.Swim by and say hi. He wants to be The Regis Philbin of the undersea world.
All of my rabbits are doing well, as am I..and I always appreciate the messages from you.

Current mood: nostalgic
Feb.9th marked 2 years since I've been on MySpace. It's pretty amazing how many very cool people from around the world I have met through this-and a bunch of you in person too. Whether you've enjoyed my little laptop pop tunes or the rabbits, I really like hearing from you. For the other bands and musicians, my greatest joy is becoming a new fan to your music. And to the good friends that I have encountered thanks to a rabbit and a synthesizer I always wish you Peace and Carrots.
