2008 was a busy and successful year for us.  We toured coast to coast, made two new CD's, the second to be release in a couple of weeks.  We met wonderful people everywhere we traveled and made new friends.  We found the recording studio of our dreams and Joe McMahan that runs it is our guy.  He really captured what we do. We also lost some wonderful people this year including Jack Spunk of the Unidynes in Clinton, IA.  Jack was one of our favorite song-writers.  He wrote about the death of small towns like his own Clinton, IA.  His song "Smoke Stopped Rising"  says it all.  We also lost base player, Rick Ciccalo.  Joe and Rick go back 30 years, playing together.  Oh the tales they could tell!!  Finally Tim Langholtz, one of the finest potters in the country left us this fall.  His art was a level above the others.  We miss you all so much.
We are looking forward to 2009.  Joe's new CD "Rain or Shine" will be released in a couple of weeks.  Betsy Brown of Blind Racoon in Memphis will be promoting the CD, we are really looking forward to working with her.  We are also planning our annual tour to California and will be in Bolinas for the 3rd year in a row playing for the 4th of July!!!!  We are hoping to complete a CD with songs by both of us latter this year.
