hey hey frenz...
just got word that we're going to be on the soundtrack for "true blood" -- that vampire show on HBO... you know, that interspeciies show where the vampires get to sleep in all day, party at a goth bar at night and keep on doing it forever... what a life, where can i apply?

anyway, theyre using 'play with fire' which appeared in a 'climactic moment' during the series... it also led to mick jagger hounding us for three weeks -- whoa, scarier than a vampire....

"true blood: music from the original hbo series" is coming out may 19 on atlantic records... some of the other people on the disc: lucinda williams, ryan adams, dr. john  the watson twins, little big town, john doe and a bunch of other people... oh and we're supposed to be on the dvd... not sure about the beta/vhs/8-mm/8-track editions...

otherwise, we're ok... and hope you guys are too...

anyway, we -- cobra verde -- are playing the beachland ballroom this saturday -- that's tomorrow for people who cant read....

we're playing a bunch of new tunes from our new disc, havent slept all year'....  but thats not all!  uh, how could it be?  ed poached some trans siberian orchestra's lightshow.... everything but the smoke machine, but thats ok; between him and mark smoking you wont be able to tell the difference...

oh yeah, we're playing with hotchacha, houseguest and family dog.... btw, the beachland is at 15711 waterloo road, cleveland, oh, usa....
