As you may have heard, we just added a new song to our myspace player. The song is called "Sinking Feeling" and we recorded it at our friend George Brooks' home studio this past month. We put a big deal of time into it, especially George for all the mixing, and going back to try again when we would whine about how we didn't like the way something miniscule sounded... plus there was the putting up with us messing around in his studio during down time, us trying on all his deep V-neck shirts and laughing about how dumb we looked, tying up Gavin and locking him in George's bathroom... Hey everybody, just writing this blog to let you know that we won the Battle of the Bands show last saturday at the Thousand Oaks Teen Center. We had a great time, and we know that all our fans in attendance had a great time too. It was an overall success and we're very proud of our victory! Last time we entered a battle of the bands, about a year ago, I believe we came in third place/fourth place or something, so that shows you what hard work and perseverance can do! Thanks to all the other great bands that performed that night as well: Right of Light, Left On Bromely, Majority Rules, R5, and The Tony Ferrari Band. They all did an excellent job as well, and we wish them all good luck. We will actually be playing with Left On Bromely again on January 1st, 2010, at the Canyon Club. Jetstream will also be performing. That's gonna such an amazing night, and trust me when I say it's gonna be an awesome start to the new year!
