For those of you who have opened this blog, welcome.

I have had a ton go on in my life since the last time I wrote. The job I had for 10 years has ended. I sold cars at Evanston Subaru (It was a great job, they even called me "Rock On", for real!) for 3 months before hooking up with Schawk, a large ad agency downtown, as a production artist on the Sears account as a temp. Unfortunately, this is ending soon, so I'm looking again.

Michelle and I have, as many of you might have guessed, moved in different directions. I'm not going to say anything bad about her or our relationship; it's just what happened and has been coming since about May. So, I'm looking... for a new apartment for my boys (my cats, Roscoe & Jarred) and myself! I hope to stay in Ravenswood/Lincoln Square, I really like it here and I know some super awesome people here!

Life is really good to me right now. I have been so fortunate! I am in a great place. I am happy, healthy, wealthy enough to make it to tomorrow, wise enough to keep it rolling, and thankful for all that I have. Today is a great day and tomorrow will be better!

Court Jester is in hiatus right now. We are on good terms, James and I are just separated by some distance. I have been playing bass and singing back-up vocals for Alive Day with my good friend Dan Arecis and new closer friends Brian and Matt. We just got done with an acoustic show with Dee who rocked. I hope to continue to write and record some new stuff of my own soon with a new attitude. I'm super excited to see where it goes.

I look forward to our (Alive Day's) show at Martyr's on Wed. December 17th. That's a great venue and I haven't played there in forever. I had so much fun at the last show since so many of my friends of mine came out. I appreciate that you all support me so much and all the things that I do.

Hi. I just found out that I'm going to get to go to Cancun in January! Oh yeah, I have no money, but I got invited and well, the company will be freakin' awesome! It will be great sittin' in the sun! GOOD TIMES!

Also, I'm going to Denver for my sister's fiance's bachelor party in March. Better learn how to ski better and stat. Yes, my sister Gigi is engaged. Very cool.

Verizon messed up my phone, so if you have my number, text me yours or call me or e-mail it to me… thanks. I've got 47 back. I had 250 contacts though, so I'm missing a lot of numbers!

I hope I have even more exciting news for you next time I write, and I hope to do it soon!!!

Rock On!
Dan

First off, Amazing Grace is a great song, enough said. Either way, I was looking for something new to put up quick and accidentally came across this video and didn't expect much, but it's not too bad. Check it out...

Amazing Grace
Steven Tyler... yeah, you heard that right.

Old school 1989... Aerosmith & Bon Jovi listen to that guitar...

Thanks to my friend Tony who I just had a long conversation about his Solstice, I'm ready to start thinking, dreaming, and test driving some new cars.

These are the cars of my life.

2001 Trans Am WS6
1996 Formula
1992 Buick Regal GS
(grandpa's car I drove for a few winters)
1992 Sunbird Convertible
(Yellow and I ran a 16.4 at the track, stock! lol)
1991 Grand Prix
(Dad's car I always wanted to drive when I was 16)
1986 Pontiac Parisienne Station Wagon
(What I got to drive when I was 16)

And before I drove, my dad had a '77 Grand Prix with a 400 c.i. V-8 engine w/T-Tops

And why I claim I was born with horsepower in my blood...
I was brought home from the hospital as a baby in a 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge!

I love cars, always have. I know gas is through the roof now, and probably will stay that way. My WS6 has 153,000 miles on it, and even though it runs really really strong, it's about time for me to start thinking about a new car. What should I get next?

OK, for those of you who do or don’t know my family, I have two sisters. The older of the two, younger than me still, Gigi, just got engaged on Feb. 29th. My sister, Michelle (gf for those who don’t know me at all) and I went to Harry Carey’s new place outside of Wrigley and sat on the 2nd floor with the windows open on a beautiful day and had some beers watching for her fiancee to be on tv. Well, there in the bottom of the 5th inning when the announcers were talking about speaking Japanese because Fukudome was up to bat, there he was... He’s the guy in the middle with the Japanese bandana on that reads "1" backwards as the Japanese read from right to left. The statement on the "Fuckudometer" is his batting average in Japanese, at the time it was .444

Enjoy!
~Dan

P.S.
Although, I do like the Cubs, and am ok with them, I must say in all this Cubs talk... GO WHITE SOX!!!

OK, check out the new tune, Nine Lives on my page... or just go to Def Leppard’s page to hear it. It’s pretty fun. Maybe I’m biased since I grew up loving Def Leppard (I can admit it) and I have a secret obsession with country music (I can admit that too).

Rock On, and hope you like it as much as I do...

I know it's almost spring... and trust me, I'm the first to tell you I'm ready for it. But, I couldn't help but want to see a bit more Devin Hester before I put my winter clothes (Bears Jersey) away! This is a montage of ALL of his REDICULOUS returns! Enjoy!
