Well friends, we were nominated for best hard rock/metal band in Omaha the last two years, but we still don't possess one of those slick award statues! Will the third time be a charm? The only way to find out is by casting your vote for Paria again this year and don't forget to also vote for The Barnacle Cordious as album of the year!

Sean Ward, an installation artist from Long Island currently based out of Oregon, has spent the last 3 and a half months creating a synthetic cave exhibit in the Bemis Center. A few of us checked it out on Friday and it is pretty surreal!

A public access television show based out of Kansas City, called Whoop Dee Doo will be hosting the event and the performance will be televised as well as several other activities in which we will be involved in.

More info about the cave exhibit:

"How can five young, regular-looking guys produce such a fierce, full-on metal assault?"

"...picture an amalgamation of the Dillinger Escape Plan and Tool, and you're not far off from the sonic scintillation that Paria specialize in."

Search for "The Barnacle Cordious" in your iTunes store to read the full review and of course, purchase the album or a few tracks if you haven't already!
