Hey all, Lucio here.

I am going to begin booking studio clients at my new studio, The Fish Tank, in beautiful historic downtown St. Augustine, FL this June and beyond.

I'm a Dove Award nominated producer and have many producing and studio credits to my name including StorySideB records and other bands like Paramore, Day of Fire, Chasing Victory, FREAKED a tribute to DCTalk, Manic Drive and many more.

If you'd like to have more info and me producing your next record/demo, please send a message with subject titled "Production."

Thanks and God Bless!

Hey Everyone! It has been a crazyand heart breaking year already. With the passing of two dear friends and business partners, Ron and David, and the breakup of the band, you'd think that StorySide:B would be just done and over...

In many ways, there are some endings. But with every ending comes a new beginning. Jordan is now the touring drummer for The Afters. I'm really happy for him. He's always really liked their music and it seems like a very good fit for him.  Preston is playing 4-5 nights a week in different local bands and is writing for his own project.

I am doing a few things that I have always wanted to do. I just bought a house in the oldest neighborhood in America. St. Augustine's Florida's historic downtown neighborhood, Lincolnville. It's a hundred year old home that is big and in need of some serious renovation. Our long time friend Jason Forrest is helping me not only turn this 2500sqft house into a home, but also my new recording studio. It will be bigger and better than my last one and I can continue producing artists from around the country as well as my own music...

Which leads me to another thing that I've always wanted to do: A StorySide:B Acoustic Record.  I already have about a third of it done. It will include some of our favorite SS:B songs as well as some acoustic songs that I have written that we've never played.

For the most near-future exciting news...I am hitting the road with my friends and amazing band, Manic Drive from Toronto, Canada. They approached me last Fall about singing on their new single, Blue, to be released to radio this month. There will be an opening band, Manic Drive plays, then I will play all your favorite SS:B song with the guys from Manic Drive as my band :) Nothing like friends helping friends :)

I hope you guys get as excited as I am about it. It'll be about 12 shows in the last 3wks of May and dates are mostly western USA.  My good friend Gregory Tanacea from Scriggleit.com is also helping me a ton. One way being setting up a Germany/Italy tour for me acoustically for this summer...yeehaw!! Parla Italiano anyone??

Stay in touch...I have been checking the messages as much as possible and I want to hear your feedback. I love you all very much and please lookout for me in your area and the acoustic record late Spring/early Summer :)

Grace and Peace,
Lu Rubino

PS~If you would like the tour or just myself acoustically to come to your festival, church, or event, please send a message with subject: Booking

Thanks so much!!

Hello again. We wanted to update you with some service information for the Jacksonville, FL memorial for Ron and the donation fund for Ron & Rebeca.

Rebecca would like it if the service at Celebration Church was more casual.  “Dress as if you were going to a StorySide:B show”.  Ron was a very laid back guy and we want to remember him that way.

Ron and Rebeca did not have life insurance.  If you would like to help with funeral and expenses, go to any Bank Of America and ask for the: Account for Ron and Rebeca McClelland ending in #8678
or
Mail checks made out to:
Ron and Rebeca McClelland Fund
P.O. Box 551379
Jacksonville, FL 32255

Thank you and God Bless!

Hey Everyone!

Wanted to give you all a quick update from SS:B!  We have been having an incredible time on the Not Of This World tour!  The guys in Seventh Day Slumber and Chasen are all awesome.  The crowds have been ridiculous!!  People have just been going crazy!  It's been so great to see.  Most importantly though, we've seen some lives changed and that's what it's all about!   We feel so blessed to be out with these incredible bands and see these lives changed first hand.  For all of you Northeast Floridians we have a show in Middleburg, Florida on 10-24-08 that we're excited about.  It will be at First Baptist Church of Middleburg and will be hitting the stage around 7:00!  We want to see our local hometown crowd there!!!  :)  I want to leave you all with a question... What does it mean to truly, "Be Still"  before God?  Tell me your thoughts.
Blessings to you all.  We love you!!!

Hey everyone just wanted to give you an update on on tour we have been on.
We have been on tour with Seventh Day Slumber and Chasen and having a great time playing shows! Both bands have been killing it! Also we've just been having a great time with the guys! The SDS guys we've known for a while so its been great to hang with them, they are becoming like family.
So funny story..
Myself (Ron) Preston, Rich our tour manager and the Chasen guys stayed at The Elms motel which is supposed to be "haunted" the other day. One of the maintenance guys took us on a little haunted tour at 3am. Its a really cool yet creepy old hotel! It was a pretty funny time, one of the girls from the front desk hid around a corner and scared the mess out of us! LOL! Pretty funny.. we of course didn't actually see anything. I have to admit though I had my own room and was to afraid to stay in it by myself! LOL! So Preston said he would before the haunted tour but wound up on the floor in the room with me and Rich!LOL!
We are so tough LOL..
Right now we are enjoying a few days off in Arizona staying with some amazing new friends the Luksza family. Ralph, Amy, Reanna, Meagan, JoAnn, thanks so much for everything! Joann and I had a piano lesson yesterday while Preston and Reanna had a guitar lesson and then of course a competition ensued lol! I think JoAnn won but pretty sure it was because of a bad teacher lol!! Lucio taught me to play a John Mayer tune on the guitar to so that was cool!

We stopped by the Grand Canyon, which i don't think any of us had seen so that was pretty amazing.
The highlight for sure was when Preston became one with Nature..
We were sitting on a ledge looking out at Gods beautiful creation and a squirrel came and sat on his lap! He of course did what you would expect (if you have ever met Preston) and fed it a Starburst.. it was hilarious!! Of course immediately after we saw a sign that said do not feed the animals.. oops! LOL! Check out the picture below!
Anyways we have some awesome shows coming up in the next couple days one that just got added on 10-04-2008 8pm at
Desert Vineyard Christian Fellowship
1011 East Avenue I, Lancaster, California 93535
Cost: $5
Its gonna be us and Chasen, for more info call: 661-945-2777
After that a couple more tour dates in Solvange, Ca on Sunday and Yuma, Az on Monday.
Try to make it out to hang with us!
Looking forward to rocking some faces off! Love you all!
Peace,
Ron-SSB
