It's been quiet times at Whitedog High... plotting and preparing... the New Year beckons... and the new cd label should be up and running... soon... Greetings to all...

... things have been complicated - plus moving house has been a drag - but now there is a new space to explore...

things are a trifle - unclear - at the moment.  To the outside, anyway... lots of changes at home which will facilitate music being played and recorded more easily... lots of plans...and travel coming up...

... the Sporadic evening last saturday was cold as hell - what is it about the weather and the club?  But Hulot impressed - and Plexus, down to two, came through with some guitar burn that cleared the room at the end!  A rehearsal for the upcoming Damo Suzuki gig... Whitedog managed to stitch together old dixieland, free jazz, blues and folk laced with electronic murk... the game goes on... and I go to dublin on wednesday for r and r - and to attend the improv festival at Trinity...

... saturday night and a strange day almost finished... but a week ago... a chaotic but brilliant gig at the Owd Sporadic... Whitedog made up for some keyborad sins in a strange manoeuvre to get FM blended with electronics...it will work, Frank, honest... but newcomers Hulot were great and Plexus... well... curate's egg boyz, but that's the nature of improv... RAW redeemed himself with two blistering acoustic numbers right on the end of the fandango... croakout to all from the Orange Tree Gang... Whitedog of course inscrutable as always... sounds moving from Ornette/Charles Mingus and noise ... the jazz/avant stuff... to relatively obscure old traditional jazz stompers that got some impromptu dancing... and Murray wopped on James Brown when he wasn't looking...Soul Power... get on up...or is it down... check your directions...
