After first nervously gracing the stage at the Duke of Windsor in October 2004, De Jah have clocked up:

- over 400 gigs,
- 500+ Airfares,
- 30,000 Kms on road
- One trip to London,
- 9360 beers,
- 3 luxury hotels (250+backpackers/motor inns/ caravan parks, friends couches, swags, panel vans, bare earth),
- 750 + big breakfasts,
- 100+ bakeries sampled,
- 24.5 hrs of hacky sack,
- 250+ internal verbal assaults,
- 2 internal physical assaults,
- 56hrs surfing,
- one shark,
- 3 trips to the hospital (one justified),
- Over 1000 introductions to single women,
(Very few follow throughs)
(we’re shy)
- Enough tar in the lungs to cover the Hume Highway
- 2 car crashes,
- one written off ute

….
and of course countless new friends, countless good times and countless
hours escaping “real” work… De Jah Groove are playing one final show on
Friday the 27th of March at the Night Cat.

So this is an
invitation for everyone who has been lucky enough to sweat it out at
our good shows, clap awkwardly at our average ones and for the amazing
community at large we've met along the way to come down for one last
hoo-rah!

THIS IS IT! There will be no John Farnham-isms here.

and if we've forgotten any important statistics like amount of covers
ruined, STDs collected, brain cells killed etc please post them on the
wall.)

On Thursday  7th of Aug, DE JAH GROOVE commence their August residency at Veludo entitled "The Mellow Stage." The show will bring to the front of the stage a lot of what the boys do backstage warming up,  jamming in hotel rooms or at parties with mates. Expect to see the boys seated, chilling out their own tunes and playing a good percentage of early rock steady reggae classics. Shows are free and doors are at 9:00.

Hey all,

Since playing Point Nepean and Rip Curl Pro we've been laying pretty low. Played a great gig up in Maleny QLD a few weeks back with our new favourite band "Tijuana Cartel" followed by the usual rockin Beach Hotel shows in Byron Bay.

Thurs 24th May ANZAC DAY EVE: Veludos , St Kilda  (Free)

This thursday the 24th of April we play a free show at Veludos St Kilda with our mates Simon Wright and the Groove Collective. We orginally met them in Byron Bay and last year Simon oved to Melbourne and gathered up an impressive bunch of Muso's including De Jah's Gus on sax to create the Groove Collective. Shows are seriously unreal and we reckon its going to be an awesome night. Show starts around 10:00pm and goes till late.

Sat 26 and Sun 27 May. REPUBLIC BAR , TASMANIA

Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th we'll be returning to Tas to play two shows with Tas Local hip hop band "Unleash the Nugget." The shows will launch their new EP and tix available for $10 on door. Should be two great nights.

Night Cat Residency first 3 Fridays in May , Fitzroy VIC

We're back out our favourite local hang out the Night Cat on Johnson St Fitzroy. All shows are free and start at 10:00.

Hey Everyone,

So we've pretty much been on the road since November and been to every state (cept NT) and had a blast but great to be home. We have a number of shows in Melbourne coming up this week and next week before we take a few months off.
So we hope everyone's digging the new album and if you havent got one yet come have a chat at one of the upcoming shows.

Friday 25th Jan - Torquay Hotel Torquay Vic

Saturday 26th Jan - Belgium Beer Garden Arvo Session 4:30

Satruday 26th Jan - Ballarat Aust Day Celebrations Lake Wendouree 8:00

Sunday 27th Jan - FREE SHOW Veludos St Kilda 10:00

Wednesday 30th Jan - FREE EARLY SHOW SoCo Cargo St Kilda (where the palace used to be.) - on stage 9:00

Friday 1st Feb - FREE SHOW The Night Cat, Fitzroy Vic


SOCO Cargo Show (wednesday) Located next to luna Park where the Palace used to be.

OK so this is pretty much the coolest venue in st kilda at the moment. It's literally 3-4 cargo containers set up in a square to be made into a live music venue/bar. Decked out with cool furniture and a mad atmosphere I cant stress how much this will be a cool show. Anyway we're on early at 9:00pm. Hope to see you there.
