I don't even know when the last time was someone posted up here. So I felt inclined this morning to write a little something. And now for the good news!

Are you ready?

Wait for it...

As of right now, our CD is about an hour away from being completely finished! Well, technically we're still waiting for it to be pressed and packaged. But the final mix is done, and it is in the can, so to speak.

The final version will be split in half, vinyl-style. Side A will be the new material plus re-recordings of Mountaineer and OfficerHardAss done by Steven DeGennaro at Music Lab over the last couple months. Side B will be the older material that never actually got "released". So with 9 tracks in all, it will be something of a comprehensive collection. More new stuff will be up soon. Here's a preliminary track list:

Side A:
Mountaineer
Planetary
Blasting Sound
Hindsight
Officer Hardass

Side B:
Don't Taze Me, Bro
No One Else
Death Warrant
Day of Reckoning

Expect this shit to drop in the next couple weeks. Stay tuned for more updates.

Peace and Rock,
Steve.

So we have this album that should have come out last year. Only we got a new bass player and thus the album was delayed. We are coming out with a CD with 9 songs. 5 live. 4 studio. It is sounding really good and we just need to do some knob tweakin' and masterin'. artwork is coming soon.

SPRING 2009!!!!!!!!

We continue to steady gig in the mean time.

Ok, here's my first dorky blog.
Just because I want to incite arguments.
Top 10 Guitarists, living or dead.
In no particular order, except I'm pretty sure about no 1.
1. Jimi Hendrix
2. Robert Fripp
3. Dave Navarro
4. John Frusciante
5. Vernon Reid
6. Billy Corgan
7. John Purse (too bad you don't know him)
8. Jimmy Page
9. J Mascis (after watching him play tonight I realize he needs to be higher up on this list)
10. Tim Lash
I know this goes against the point of a top 10 list but I can't let these guys go unmentioned
11. Alex Lifeson, he shouldn't be overlooked just because Geddy and Neil are so great.
12. Kevin Shields. I know he doesn't play any wicked solos, but its not all about solos people.

Sorry to Eddie Van Halen.  Hot for teacher is pretty awesome.
Not sorry to Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, or any of those showoffs, it sounds more like wanking off than music to me.
