Rebecca Lindsey-- in the top 10 Playlist

August 21, 2007 Rebecca interviews with WAGS Radio Station in Bishopville, SC after being in their top 10 spot with her song "Everything But Lying".

"Everything But Lying" was written and produced by Charlie Craig, a noted songwriter whose work has been recorded by the likes of Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Travis Tritt and George Strait. Craig will probably be best remembered for having co-written "Wanted" with Alan Jackson as well as being nominated for 'Song of the Year' for Reba McEntire's hit, "She's Single Again".

"It is a true honor to be a part of a playlist that is so diverse and in-touch with today's Country music. Rebecca Lindsey-- helps raise more than $70,000 for St. Petersburg, Fl Domestic Abuse Shelter

Deborah Williams, the St. Petersburg, FL CASA Domestic Abuse Shelter Director of Development, wrote about Rebecca Lindsey and the luncheon's sponsor, Mary Shuh:
"Wow, what a dynamic duo. Thank you for the wonderful job you did to help raise money for our domestic abuse shelter. More than $70,000 was raised for CASA as a result of your efforts at the Good Night Sleep Lunch."
"It is great to be able to thank anyone that has sponsored shelters and survivors of domestic violence. I know it can seem frustrating as a sponsor when you do not see the results of your time and money - but if you save one life, you save the world. A sponsor's time and kindness is never for nothing. If you are related to someone or friends with someone you are almost obligated to have to help them. The people that help the most in these cases generally are strangers - yet they care and help anyway. God bless you the volunteers for your efforts; it really makes all the difference in the world."

Rebecca's song "On the Fourth of July" being played in Major Retail Stores Nationwide through IBN

More than 70% of all purchase decisions are made in the store.  Being able to have a song exposed to the public through stores such as ACME, Giant Carlisle, Walgreens, Tops, Kroger, Safeway, Albertson's, SuperValu, Winn Dixie and Meijer is a major accomplishment.  IBN presently represents 48 major store lines and the music they play to its customers.  When you're out and about, please be sure to listen for Rebecca's "On the Fourth of July" to start being played early February 2007 at a store near you!

Rebecca to give away cars to Domestic Abuse Shelter through 1800CHARITYCARS

On Friday February 26, 2007 Rebecca will be giving away 6 cars to victims of domestic violence in the Harbor House shelter in Orlando through her affiliate, 1800CHARITYCARS.  The shelter will also be given a conversion van to help other victims to get to the shelter as well.  Fox 35, Channel 6, The Sentinel and other media have been invited to attend the event.

What GREAT time I had with friends and family in Pa! I had not been back in 7 years and what a difference all that time makes. I did not get to see everyone I wanted to or go to all the places I had hoped to see, but how much can you fit in one week and that is the time I had? Ironically enough I actually had a hard time remembering where everything was and it would come back to me in stages as I drove. I got to show my girls where I grew up, went to school and used to live. I got to get a picture of one of my best friends and I in front of the pre-school where we met. She also threw me a huge welcome home party where I got to see friends from High School I had not seen since 1991....
