In fact everything that could go wrong did. 

First a fucking stunning house was booked in January, then wednesday, not even a full 24 hours before we are supposed to leave they call matt to say that the house in "uninhabitable". Um wow. Then they inform him that they have another house that is "better" that we can stay at instead. We did end up with a place to stay so we arent completely upset but its not the place booked in JANUARY!!! Friday morning we all wake up at a reasonable hour and start drinking fruit smoothie cocktails. I might have to say that was my highlight of the weekend.. MMmmMM were they yummy. It was rather hot me and matt jumped in the pooll. During that time frank and paul and albie start getting ready and to our delight we find out...joy  NO HOT WATER!!! And we all know you have to take a shower before going inside.. Whatever at least the shower didnt sober us up. We leave to go and get there without any real problems except that no one is selling tickets (and we didnt buy them beforehand).Wah. Whatever they have a ticket kiosk now,  problem solved. New problem, they are pretty much the ugliest tickets ever..Oh well as you will learn this is a not a memory i want to hang on to. They didnt check us at all when we got in which was really awesome except that we didnt bring booze with us!!! Whatever.. So Friday was the day I thought would be the worst. Paul Mc Cartney and Leonard Cohen, I mean I can appreciate them, but I NEVER EVER EVER need to be anywhere where they are playing. The people that came for them were really disgusting and funny at the same time. I cant really say much positive about anyone that was playing on Friday.OH I take it back White Lies were actually really fucking stunning. We get in an head to my home away from home aka the dance tent. We get in during Steve Aoki's set(BARFFFFFFFFFFFFFF), which I didnt want to see, but paul didnt change his clock so told us it was the wrong time. Felix da Housecat was gross, just like the last time I saw him. Then we tried to smoke our first joint and first off are they too sticky so they dont stay lit(we did manage to work it out durning white lies though), then a fucking rent a cop comes and makes albie put it out.. and gets really dramatic. Hell no, now I understand that weed is not a cigarette but come on now, you are at an outdoor music festival. Whatever. The day goes on and for the first time since I have ever been, it actually wasnt that hot. Franz Ferdinand were super cute actually they might have even been my highlight for Friday.  So now we are at 2 out of 5 and some long beer breaks in between. After that we were all supposed to meet up again before ghostland at the etard spot so it took a while to meet up so me and matt went to n.a.s.a for a minute and seriously every other moment was cute. Yet another disapointment, we did however get to hear a minute of money so it was all good.... then there was disaster that is Morrissey. I have always prided myself in my hate for him and I now realize that I was not just being a hater, he does indeed suck. I am not even going to go there with what he said Im sure enough people have done enough hating. After that we caught the last minute of peanut butter wolf who also sucked. Then we all met up again for the final time of the night, and all together again for the presets. We have all seen the presets together and I have seen them too many times, but to see them at coachella was something I was super excited about especially in my favorite place in the world, the sahara tent. Actually this was the one thing I was really excited for on Friday. Unfortunately they were another huge disappointment. They completey wrecked (and not in a good way) if i know you and are you the one. It was way too crowded and there was basically no room for us to dance together, and then the crazy guy stomping all around stomps on my fucking toe. What a great way to end a great first day.

We get back to hell on via lazo and drink some more and somewhat try to sleep. We all wake up again at a reasonable hour and drink mimosas and then jack and cherry pepsi on the way to the festival. We missed some people that we wanted to see but managed to find a meet up spot and then split up again. Para One was ok, he might have actually been my first time dancing in the fucking dance tent so far, and for anyone who knows me that is not right at all. Saturday there was a lot of gaps for me and matt, but whatever. So after a lot of sitting and waiting we head over to glasvegas who dun dun dun.. dont show up. So now our 2 plus hour break turns into 4 plus since we werent feeling surkin. I really couldnt tell you what the two of us did that time,because our joints still wont stay lit, but somehow we managed to kill all that time and had just enough time to swallow our fun and then head to junior boys just before they had time to hit us. And hit us they did yet somehow junior boys still managed to unimpress. Up next was glass candy and then gang gang dance so we werent leaving for a while. We swallow some more fun and then its time for Glass Candy. Glass Candy were fucking stunning and we all danced our asses off. So sad that not until saturday at 10pm does coachella finally start getting good. This has never happened, and to be honest I cant say that Im suprised the way that this year was going. Now its time for gang gang dance and all of us are floored, i think I only managed to stand up and dance for one song and we swore there was a crazy stage show going on, which apparently wasnt. Hahaha.. well at least saturday ended good.  Oh I completey forgot, at one of our endeless breaks frank lends this guy a lighter who smokes us out with hands down the best weed ever. I seriously love you, whoever and wherever you are.

Now its sunday and we only have one day left. We spend the beginning of that day being nasty to each other which is kinda killing my day already and Sunday was the day I was excited for. I blame this on the lack of sleep that me and paul and matt had or didnt have rather. We again missed some people we wanted to see but did manage to score some mushrooms in the parking lot. Sunday was the hottest day of the festival so maybe not the best day to be that on one that early.. but whatever we survived it. Lykke li was fucking amazing but at the wrong stage at the wrong time. Then after we took the best pic ever, and got told we were a cute group of friend. Ha i love heart shaped chocolate mushrooms. Matthew Herbert made it ok that Hercules didnt play since he managed to make antony and the johnsons halfway tolerable. By this point we are all really on a bomb one and its time to start heading to the yeah yeah yeahs who never disapoint. They almost did because miss o said last song and they hadnt played heads will roll yet... but by the grace of something they played 3 more songs one being yes you guess it.. Heads will roll!! After that we split up again and were going to meet up again before the kills. We somehow manage to meet up again, watch their amazingness together and try to spend the rest of the night together. After that was yet another disaster..groove armada who djed one of the worst sets I have ever seen. Maybe its a good thing I wasnt at the dance tent most of the weekend. Cez finds me just before etienne de crecy for what I was sure would be the highlight of my weekend. The cube lights up and we run to the front.. for the fucking disapointment of a lifetime. Seriously look up videos elsewhere and compare.. shit looked like a 4 year old put it together. I think we even managed to leave early and get out in good time. 

By this point there is generally a song..no an anthem of the weekend. This year there wasnt one and I am honestly glad, that I dont have to think of this weekend ever again. Now usually after all this I think to myself.. if it wasnt for the music I dont know what I'd do. This year changed to if it wasnt for my friends i dont know what id do. I am pretty sure that this will be my last coachella and im super glad I spent it with you.

was without a doubt this years coachella.this was by far the best coachella yet and in all honesty i dont think there can be one that will top it.. daft punk were beyond amazing and my life will no doubt never be the same. mylos dj set was insane.metric made me loose control.those were my top 3 the rest was also amazing but nothing can top that i wish madonna was on that  list but thanks to paul oakenfold for blowing out our speakers.we couldnt really hear shit ..we got into the groove anyways though.also amazing were:scissor sisters,jamie lidell,audio bullys,louie vega...but what i found most amazing this year was the good times spent with friends new and old and realizing just how awesome the people that are in my life right now are.

ive been drinking more than i usually do..like waaaaay more..its fucking awesome and its to the point where i now dont remember things that happened. it was only a matter of time before it happened. im totally glad it did.

this will not turn into another one of my endless praises for mr price. but good god even she says "without you this record wouldnt have been possible". i love madonna anyways,yes i know im a fag, but working with him on the whole record was prolly her best move to date. i dont want to hear.. any of the hate..its just pop music meant to make you dance.. so shut the fuck and dance already.
