Halloo,

First things first, we did an interview on Radio Krakow last week talking about our forthcoming Album Ad Just Meant. You can listen to it HERE.  For you English only speakers out there... we recommend Langensheidt Polish-English dictionaries...
And now without further ado, the waterfall of words:

ALL I NEEDED

You, Me, Us We
I, You, Why? A Clue:
I Knew, You were All That I Needed
Yes You, and Now these Words are Repeated

BRIDGE

Yeah  You, You Were All that Needed
I Said  You, You Were All that Needed

Two Three Four
Hey, Hey, Ha Hey Hey Hey
I said Hey, Hey, Ha Hey Hey Hey
I said Hey, I Need You
Two Three Four
Hey, Hey, Ha Hey Hey Hey
I said Hey, Hey, Ha Hey Hey Hey
I said Hey, I Need You

Yeah, Well I Walked Downtown  On a Winter’s Day
Thinking About My Life, Thinking About The Grey
When I Met you, I Found You

Now I walk down town on a Summer’s Day
Thinking about the World, Thinking about How I’ve Changed
Since I met You, I got You

Yeah  You, You Were All that Needed
I Said  You, You Were All that Needed

CHORUS

Yeah  You, You Were All that Needed
I Said  You, You Were All that Needed

Hey, Hey, Ha Hey Hey Hey
I said Hey, Hey Don’t Go Away
I Said Hey, I Got You
Two Three Four
Hey, Hey, Ha Hey Hey Hey
I said Hey, Hey, Don’t Go Away
I Said Hey I Got You

Can in Peach

I can't keep the time any longer
I can't make my love any stronger
You think you are right but you couldn't be wronger  (2x)

This is the paradox stop
Locked and loaded this is the ocean opened up
To where the sky meats the Devil's Eye
We're counting time doing lines
Drinking from the bottle
Eating from the vine, the wine
Masters of the Sacrament
Testaments or lack of better
Flash back happened when I had to laugh
At the aftermath and then after that
I happened to be passing by, happened to be asking why
You had a smile life is defiled it's your style

And I can't keep the time any longer
I can't make my love any stronger
You think you are right but you couldn't be wronger

This is a paradox
We are a paradox
Fuck this Paradox

I can't keep the time any longer
I can't make my love any stronger
You think you are right but you couldn't be wronger

Anything You Want

What do you want to talk about
What do you want to rock about
What do you want to bring about
What am I gonna sing about
What are you gonna write about
What are we gonna fight about
What are you gonna lie about
What did they go to die about!

A city built on pillars in the middle of the night
You think this city's filled with killers and endless fright
All the songs filled with filler and useless trite
Although you sometimes may, you always might
Know there's just one thing -and it's everthing (3X)

You Can Be, Anything you Want...

What do you want to talk about
What do you want to rock about
What do you want to read about
What will you plant a seed about
What do you want to think about
What are you gonna drink about
What do you want to sigh about
What do you want to cry about
What are you gonna bring about
What am I gonna sing about
What are you gonna write about
What are you gonna fight about
What are you gonna paint about
What'll you be a Saint about
What are you gonna lie about
What did they go to die about

In the name of God we trust
In the name of gods we lust
All those ashes to ashes
And that dust to dust
You sometimes may, but you always must
Know there's just one thing -and it's everthing (3X)

You Can Be, Anything you Want...

Northern Wind

Once Again, Betrayed by a Friend
Now you try to ignore the wolf at your door
And your Czar can't be found, he's been layed in your ground
But your people defend, their lives too the end

So I said Western Wind
Blow back again
Don't take your time
This is the end of the line

So I said Western Wind
Blow back again
Don't waste your time
This is the end of the line

So you changed the tide, Can you hide your pride
And now your rushing around, you invade our ground
And our land you steal how can't you feel
And now access denied they axed us our allies
Though the war may be won, the Cold's just begun

So I said Eastern Wind
Blow back again
Don't take your time
This is the end of the line

So I said Eastern Wind
Blow back again
Don't waste your time
This is the end of the line

But it's that Northern Wind
That Blows back again
And it takes its time
Down the end of the line

Yeah it's that Northern Wind
Again and Again
Go and make your peace
Stay in your West not our East

I JUST MEANT

Cars Pass in the Night Time
Projecting Their Light
You Can See Your Reflection
It Won’t Distract Your Site

Maybe your eyes can’t adjust to the light

Stare Into the Distance
Future’s All You Can See
Wind Is Strong You Can Stand It
Won’t Get Blown On

Maybe your eyes can’t adjust to the light

Maybe you’ve grown much too tall for your height

Looking out for something, something you can see
Looking out for someone, someone you could be
Looking out for someone, someone you could see
Looking out for something, something you should be

No, and you thought I wasn’t there
(Step away from the car)

And I’m still standing here
And I just meant
And I just meant
An Adjustment

With your hands in the air you can see yourself running
The further you fall the faster you flee
With your hands in the air you can see yourself running
With your blindfolded eyes its hard not to see
If you jump in the air you better hit the ground running
You Tie your boat down or you float out to see
If you knew I was there you should have kept the car running

If you’re holier now run as fast as you can
If you’re lonelier now run as fast as you can
Adjust yourself now run as fast as you can
Undress yourself now run as fast as you can

Adjust yourself now run as fast as you can (3X)
Undress yourself now run as fast as you can
Adjust yourself now run as fast as you can (3X)
Trust yourself now run as fast as you can (3X)

Chow,
Greetings Eluktricklers and strangers alike.  As you may or may not have noticed, we've finally kind of been busy on our MySpacey thing here.  We have uploaded the first 5 tracks of our forthcoming album "Ad Just Meant". One of these tracks is available for free download on this very website... but we're not telling which.
In other news, we have started the media blitz to raise awareness of the music that we make in hopes of attracting the attention of people with money, trucks and aeroplanes so they will eventually move our music to other parts of the planet, even Slovakia (we love you Bratislava!).   Here is the first of many interviews shamelessly promoting our new album:

                              or =>    Polskie Radio
So yes, this may surprise you all but we are still looking for one of these so called Record labels.... they are endangered animals we hear so we are hunting very carefully. If any of you are one of these animals or know where can be found... do tell.  But until we wrestle one of these magical beasts we will continue to debut new tracks on this here mySpaceship and will inevitably clog up the interwebs and hyper tubes with Eluktrickal wiring of the EmPee Trois variete.  Thanks for your time and sleep tight.

Playing a concert on a freezing Sunday in January is certainly not the greatest formula for success... But on this particular night, when it seemed that nothing could go right, we trudged on and left it all on stage.  With many thanks to Appleseed for playing with us and Dr. Roy for shooting the raw video - we are semi-proud to present a song from this roller coaster evening.  So please enjoy our seriously amateur live video manipulation (with halfway decent audio) of Can in Peach from our forthcoming Album.

On Wednesday February 6th,2008 Thymn did an interview for a new Radio program on Polish Radio entitled: Studio 15. In the interview Thymn talked about the origins of the band, Eluktrick's influences and a few other random topics that the hosts provided him with questions for... They also played two Eluktrick tracks: "Taking it Easy" and they debuted the still unmastered to be released single for "All I Needed". Hello You,
So we just got wind of a review that the lovely folks at the music blog "Don't Panic We're From Poland" did of our Ep about 3 weeks ago. It is quite interesting although not being a native Polish speaker I don't think I understand it completely. No matter, here it is:
http://wearefrompoland.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
The thing I find most interesting and even funny, is the recurring Doors comparisons. Although this is the first "official" comparison in terms of the media, dozens of people have made the same comparison. In the 2.5 years since we have been crafting sounds and songs I don't think the Doors have come up once, nor have we listened to them together in any sort of group listening session... Curious.
With that said, like any red blooded American male, I had my Doors faze when I was about 17 and for a brief period became obsessed and almost mystified by the Doors and more specifically the poetry and vivid imagery of Morrison's texts.... and now that I mention it, there was that wedding band I played in about 5 years ago where I sang Roadhouse Blues and Love Me Two Times...
I guess it goes to show that the strongest influences may not be the ones that you strive for but perhaps the most deeply internalized. Either way it is a bit surprising if not a touch flattering.
We'd be interested to know what you think....

Pozdro,
Thymn

We'd like to thank all of your beautifully scary peoples who joined us last Wednesday in Imbir for A Trick of Luck at Midnight. It was an evening that still lingers and haunts most involved...

We'd like to thank Dave Molus, Midnight Reverie for joining us on this eve and helping us usher in the embers of November....

And a special thanks to Christain and Joanna for their illustrative genious. As the photos attest (also Asia's handiwork), they provided some incredibly haunting and spontaneously hilarious images for us to dance and sing upon...

SO, thanks again and if you are in the Krak this week join Eluktrick and Dave Molus Saturday night at Cafe Szafe for another evening of nightingale noise and electric empathy...

So a friend called me this morning to inform me that Gazeta Wyborcza ran an article in its Krakow paper about Krakow bands and the rising trend in user supported music funding sites such as www.sellaband.com and the Polish variant www.megatotal.pl. It turns out Eluktrick has recently set up profiles on both sites and our own Tchecky Limo was interviewed for the article. If you haven't read it, check it out here. =>

It's a pretty decent article but more importantly we whole heartedly encourage you to check out both sellaband.com and megatotal.pl and help support our music. Believe baby believe...

Dear MySpace Cadets,
Over the last 9 months or so Eluktrick has had the pleasure of working with some very talented graphic designers in Krakow. One of the most talented designers is a good friend of the bands and is also a fantastic musician in his own right (he has shared the stage with us on several occasions as well). I am speaking of Mr. Czeslaw Dave Molus.
In the last week since Dave's latest poster (see below) first graced the bars and walls of Krakow haunts, people have constantly been asking me who the designer is. Well this is the man.

Vinyl Club Concert Poster

Dave is currently working for a graphic design firm in Krakow but has done a lot of work designing posters, catalogs, fliers and logos for krakow's music scene and greater arts community.

Toast and Jam Poster

If you like Daves work and are interested in contacting him send an email to itbemolus@gmail.com.

The First Annual Big Orchestra Concert

We are very pleased and honored to be working with such a talented artist and look forward to our continued collaboration.

carry on,
