Current mood:  creative
I recorded this song like 4 or 5 years ago and want to re-produce it so I
can incorporate it into the working album. It's a very personal song that has to be expressed with all emotion. Listen to the instrumental while I re-produce and re-cut the vocals!

I write. Not just songs but professional, journalistic type stuff... I think I'm good too ;)

My latest endeavor in my writing path is interviewing artists, musicians and producers. I've recently sat down for dinner with Sleepy Brown. That was fun and surely an interesting experience. I've also interviewed sexy violinist out of the "A", Ken Ford. Talk about a cup of coffee. Next on the iist:

Amel Larriuex
Cee-lo
Paquito DeRivera
Issac Hayes (working on)
Betty Wright (working on)
Miguel Migs

If you know of an artist that has established an name for themselves, by all means send them my way. I'm working hard on getting the right interviews and writing up an incredible story. Most can be seen published at Nu-Soulmag.com. Others will be published in national magazines and I will be post them here for you all to check out. Thanks for the support!

I'm finally back in the studio! Yay! Found my match and a solid core of
co-writers that rock! Thanks 'Mere, B & J! Oh yeah and Art of course for lending his
production skills and studio! Doesn't stop there though! Working on a 10-day tour in Spain for later this summer! It's coming :)

Current mood:  contemplative
I've been in Atlanta 7 months now. I've been asked thousands of times "when can i hear your music". I ask myself the same question. I started recording a few years ago and that came to a halt-unfortunately. What's the hold up now? Money for 1 and supportive, committed people, 2! I know a host of super talented musicians, producers, artists, deal makers, etc... but little are able to commit and see the bigger musical picture with me. Many that offer just talk and even more have an ulterior motive; one that I don't have time to entertain. I'm creative, I have soul, I have stories to tell, I'm a musician and I just want to sing. I've thought about putting up here the lone song I recorded a couple years ago, but I'd be doing myself a disservice. It' s not my artistic voice and truthfully, I've grown so much as a writer and singer since that I almost don't like hearing it myself. I'm working on re-doing the song, cause I want to love it!

So, in the meantime, I continue to make connections, write, and find creative & positive energy and space so that I don't lose my mind and get discouraged with this game and industry. Send people my way, if you've got connections. I've got hand and ears waiting to hear my music.

I just want to sing.
