Briquerouge will cease its production activity after 10 years and more than 150 releases on vinyl - The story is over for several reasons we will explain later.

In the meantime this means our records will not be manufactured again nor distributed. This also means our entire catalogue will be removed from the digital platform Beatport and will not be sold there anymore - Our website is now offline, our myspace will not be updated anymore.

"It's wrong when it stops being fun" - Hunter S Thompson

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tommy Four Seven "Eat Me Remixes" EP Brique Rouge House

Tommy is my secret weapon. He’s the new breathe of the Uk House scene, I’m playing or have played almost all of his tracks and everytime it went fantastically ! This guy knows how to make you shake your ass... and picture this - He’s only 21!
He’s one of our English residents along Jamie McHugh and Alex Parsons to name but a few. Those are now iconic of the label, With "Eat Me" Tommy proves he’s got a good sense of humor. This is tracky, this is funky. I’m personally digging Tommy’s Cake Mix a lot, playing it in almost all my sets.
The package comes complete with mixes from London’s Most Wanted Supervilain Mike Monday, former Lionrock’s king Justin Robertson and Fresh Meat’s House Of Black Dress from Chicago whos covering the track with real instruments and even resing the song ! NOT to miss !! - David Duriez ( France)

]

Meanwhile, we’re unsurprised to hear DJ mag says that Tommy Four Seven "is primed to blow them away in 2008" with "hypnotic ... darker moods ... menace ... seething grooves ... edginess". As we’ve said, the first releases on Tommy’s label Shooting Elvis is the sound of a young producer pushing the envelope just that little bit further than his predecessors were prepared to do.
First release is out Feb and there will be contributions from Remute, Darko Esser, Mark Broom and another amazing new UK producer, James Kronier. It’s deep techno, but much more experimental than that label usually suggests.

Nathan Coles:

Wally Lopez:

Mike Monday:
God this Mike Monday guy is a genius! HOBD mix and cake mix are all awesome too. great

Ivan Smagghe:
T47 stuff is good. especially when it goes weird. nice to hear justin here...
Tom Neville:
a future star in the making!!!
Jamie McHugh:
I was a massive fan of this first time around so it’s
a welcome update - the Mike Monday mix is the winner for me here - nice to see him back on Brique Rouge!
Alex Parsons:
HUGE!! Been playing Tommy’s mix for months already and loving Mike’s ravey touch!
Massive support from me.

Title: Waterhouse
Label: Brique Rouge France

A: Original
AA: Satoshi Tomiie Mix

Listen Here @ DJDownload: http://www.djdownload.com/artist/Alex+Parsons++Trent+Anthony+pres+Agent+Toga/361852

A word from the boss:

Agent Toga is Alex Parsons teaming up with Trent Anthony and this is their second release for us, it’s call ed "Waterhouse" and it’s a long minimal groovy atmospheric house track, actually i think it’s a masterpiece, to remix it we had no choice to ask one of the best producers and dj of his time Satoshi Tomiie from saw recordings and the man is delivering the dope !!
This is so exciting that I’m losing control everytime I’m playing it in clubs. It’s melodic, it’s building nicely over tight beats and it has got the perfect breakdown, awesome! I’m very proud of this release on the label. - David Duriez

Feedback:

James Flavour (Dirt Crew) - Cool release will play!
Laurent Garnier - Will definitely play the original everywhere!
Paul Hamill (BBC Radio Ulster) - Amazing. Can’t wait to play this out!
Mylo - Excellent
Hernan Cataneo - Great mix from Satoshi
Matt Darey - Good
Nick Warren - Great mix from Satoshi
Derek Taylor (M8 Magazine) - The original is phenomenal!! Incredible track. Weird but wondeful melody and excellent
percussion. The Satoshi Tomiie Rmx is also good but it’s the original for me.Will be reviewing for the next issue of M8.
Joshua Iz- Can’t wait to play it at Fabric this weekend
Mason - Ow yeah ! Loving the Satoshi version.... Heard mr Duriez play it live and it sounded amazing. Can’t wait to play this out.

Tommy is prolific producer who has already begun working on his debut artist album.
Not only has he had tracks signed to labels like Brique Rouge, Catwash Records, iO Music, Love Minus Zero and JM Recordings, but he has also remixed artists such as Mike Monday, FEX, Tom Pooks and Mark O'Sullivan.

Tommy's tracks are consistently championed by some of the best DJs on the international scene with records such as 'Eat Me' and the 'My Friend ' EP on Brique Rouge making their way into the record bags of Josh Wink, DJ T, Tiga, Tom Stephan, Ralph Lawson and Rui Da Silva. Fergie has also been a strong supporter and played Tommy's collaboration with Alex Parsons, 'Chocolate Make Your Clothes Shrink', on Radio 1.

Despite so much going on, this is only just the beginning for Tommy. With his outstanding style and energy, and incredible production talent, Tommy Four Seven is definitely a name you'll be hearing a lot more about in the future.

?Chris Carrier 'Rambling House' (KILL BRIQUE)

Repressed due to popular demand !! 12" available NOW
Didier ALLINE

"Chris Carrier has the uncanny knack of producing exactly what you want to hear, when and where you want it. Here he moves up a gear from recent tracks to what can probably be best described as minimal techno. 'Rambling House', from what I can hear' is purely designed to melt whatever brain cells you have left, with it's monotonous techno sounds, and very cool, funky percussion. Audio Soul Project have been assigned to give this the remix treatment and boy do they do well. The deepen things up but still keep that techno feel with some mental noises. The final track is again an original from Chris Carrier, titled 'Impugn'. This again is on the monotonous techno vibe, but is much much deeper than 'Rambling House', which will suit deeper floors. M8/M8 (Derek Taylor)"

Kill Brique
KBR10
remixes by Mazi&Duriez + Scan X

available in MP3 and LOSSLESS starting 0,99 € on http://www.briquerouge.com

"It's difficult to think of two producers more in tune with each other than Mazi and David Duriez. Both have such an innate sense of how to make the underground funk. Their remix here is a case in point. Just wait until that twisted synth melody explodes over the minimal beats. Then again, the Original and its equally large and scary riff is a pretty good starting place." / IDJ magazine

Alex was born just outside of London in the UK in 1982. His love for music started at the early age of four when he started learning the violin, taking up the piano and saxophone soon after. His dedication to performance earned him visits abroad, playing a range of countries from those in Europe, to as far out as Kuwait and South Africa.
Drawing inspiration from his Masters Degree in composition, his earliest releases in 2002 were in the form of TV soundtracks. Since then, as well as several more soundtracks for National Television and previous releases on Proactive, Whiplash and Acute Digital, he has completed remixes for Fresh Meat and Fakt, his own EP on David Duriez's Block imprint, and a collaboration with Tommy Four Seven, Chocolate Makes Your Clothes Shrink, recently released on Brique Rouge.
There is no doubt that 2006 is set to be a pretty big year for Alex. Easily one of the most versatile, innovative and exciting DJ and Producers around, he is without doubt the brightest young star of the house and breaks scenes.

Collectors available on gold vinyl limited edition to 500 copies and on clear vinyl limited edition for a limited time only

Dj Mag - the flipside to "screwdriva" is the growling bass and trademark Hardfloor acid builds of "Murano",which Brique Rouge has released before,so let´s focus on Zenker and Bondzio´s new material. On Screwdriva,it sounds like Hardfloor have gone back to the original Windy City acid trax template, with crashing cymbals and jacking rhythms accompanied by a dirty bassline and some typically Germanic precision. From Frankfurt via Chicago, this is real acid house music. (Richard Brophy)

James Talk : "Both tracks are amazing, acid house, peak time stormers, LOVE IT"

Fafa Monteco : "both mixes are excellent, will play it, very very good"

David Duriez : "i'm hammering both tracks for months ! one of my favorite dancefloor record ever"

Tommy Four Seven : "Screwdriva completely annihilated the dancefloor! The crowd reaction was immense. Picture a low ceiling room with the crowd touching the celling as the acid line possessed their body. One of my favourite tracks of the year!"

Justin Robertson : "both sides of hardfloor are massive! been playing it acid rave style! "

Jamie McHugh : " This track is my biggest track of the moment, I simply can't get enough of it. Hardfloor are one of my favourite artists of all time and this track demonstrates why. This is Acid madness at it's very best. This one's gonna be huge!!!! Charting at No.1 "

Marc Roberts : "That..s sick as fuck!"

James Mowbray : "both the new Hardfloor tracks are wicked, right up my street."

Paul Woolford : "Solid large scale rave chaos ensues from within this 8 minutes of madness. Love it... "

ISSST : "Unmistakably Hardfloor... wicked as always!!

Nathan Coles: "With a track like this, there's no need to ask them why there called Hardfloor! Them at the best!!

Dave Lambert: "aciiiiiiiiiiid lovely up my street!"

LARS FUNKDVOID: "big one for the guys. good work"

Christopher Milo: "wow. a touch of old plastikman meets the best of hardfloor to huge effect!! takes me back, but by no means is this a throwback. viva hardfloor!"
