Come celebrate the holidays with Sweetloop! Yes, we are part of a great album called "Hear Something Christmas" and our producer is throwing a fantastic CD release party at the Pig 'n Whistle on Nov. 6! All the musicians and bands on the album will be there performing their songs as well as getting together for a big monster holiday jam!

Hey All!

Just wanted to thank everyone who made it out to our Pig 'n Whistle gig this past Friday!  We had a great turnout and a fantastic time! 

In the studio, we are currently working on getting our album mastered, we think we found the right guy, he actually did the mastering on Signal Hill Transmission's latest endeavor so we know he's gotta be good!  As soon as that phase is finished, we move onto designing a cover and picking a title...yes, still brainstorming on that!  It's harder than one would imagine! 

On another note, for those of you who don't know, Sweetloop is part of a great holiday compilation album called Hear Something.  We did a song as a band, Winter Wonderland, and I did a solo on Santa Baby. It's a great album with a bunch of really talented, ecclectic musicians and it's on sale now super cheap on our producer's website (posted below).  A holiday CD makes a great secret santa gift of stocking stuffer and they're only 12 bucks!  So please check it out if you could use some wonderful holiday sounds this season!

Hey All

So Vijal, Craig and I just finished a fabulous weekend mixing our album with our wonderful producer, Marvin Glover.  I'm uploading the newly mixed songs, so check 'em out and feel free to express your thoughts to us...especially if they're positive!      We're still working on additional bass and some more percussion on "Firebug", but otherwise, the rest of the songs are pretty much finished.  Next step:  Mastering the CD...which as my producer explained it, is kinda like 'waxing your new car, making it all shiny and perfect'....We're all very excited about the new mix and can't wait to share with you the finished product!

For those of you in the Los Angeles area...we have a show THIS Friday, August 1 at 8:45 at the super cool Cabana Club in Hollywood.  It's right behind Ameoba Records and it actually was the very first place where Vijal and I played together, about 5 years ago!  So hope to see you Friday night, it's going to be a great show!  -- Amy

We just jammed out with this AWESOME Pennsylvania band called "Jillevin", and we realized this U2 song goes perfectly with Ween's "Jackass". Try it at home kids. It's not for professionals. :)
