It's true, Seneca will be taking some time off this winter, and doesn't
plan on playing any shows until spring time. We're not breaking up. We
just have normal lives and want to spend some time focusing on other
things. Touring is not out of the question, but just isn't possible right now. We'll play
shows when we feel like it, write songs when we feel like it, and
record when we feel like it. It's fun so we still do it. When it stops
being fun, we take a break. Bottom line. This band will always be
around, playing music on our own terms, and we hope you enjoy it.
The
shows on our page will be your last chance to come see us for a few
months, so try to make it out if you can. We're going to begin tracking
our 3rd full length during this time off from playing shows, so be on
the lookout for some new material. We'll see you all again this spring.

So we're on our drive back from our last show on our tour with Within The Ruins and Martyrdom. Martydom had to drop the tour unfortunately due to van trouble in Arizona, but we want to say thanks to both those bands. Really cool guys and easy to get along with. Anyone who can entertain you with an echoing parking lot is fun to be around. But most of all we would like to thank anyone who came out to support us. We haven't been the best about touring often and were working on changing that! stay in touch for upcoming dates around your area and we'll be seeing you soon!

Yes, we did sign a deal with Lifeforce Records and we are very excited to have their support.
If you're unfamiliar with the label they helped launch the careers of artists like Between the Buried and Me, Trivium, All That Remains, Caliban, and Heaven Shall Burn.
We do not have an official release date yet for our debut album Reflections on Lifeforce, but it will be out by early-mid 2009. There will also be a limited pressing of Reflections that will include a bonus cd including our original self-titled full-length re-mixed and re-mastered by Jamie King.
We would like to thank anyone that has supported us and our music throughout the years. Stay tuned for more news soon!

We finished up recording our new full length this week with Jamie King. The new stuff is way better then these same songs that have been our our page for years. Next week we'll be posting a full studio video highlighting various stages of the recording. We'll also be posting a new song on our page, so check back for that.
Also, thanks to everyone who came out to the past 2 shows and gave Corey a warm welcome into the band. Pictures from those shows will be uploaded tonight, so check out the new albums. We're gonna be updating this a lot more often so stay tuned!
