Well, this blog goes out to all our fans and former fans (depending on what your palette of taste looks like at the moment). The band is thinking about a new EP, possible full-length. We look a lot different now, meaning our style, taste, etc... Physically, we look pretty much the same (excluding Gib's hair-do).

Musically, we are all on different things right now and that is a good thing. While Playdough has spent the last several years developing into one of the better emcees out there, Gib aka Peter Daily has become an artist all his own. Myself, Blake Knight, well, I've been working on evolving into a producer and writer more so than before and allowing all my influences to craft the music I make rather than what I'm competing with.

The time has come for us to come together with what is great about each group member and expose that. We are stoked about what this stew might taste like when we're finished. It will be distinctly different, yet, the same. Is that possible? I don't know. I hope so because we do want to have the same ill harmonics chemistry which has been so prevalent in the music we've made over the years. We are going to record all live drums most likely with a texture of breakbeats here and there. Playing guitar more and keys for me along with Gib aka Peter Daily singing will accompany the always exquisite Playdough raps. It should be quite tasty but if not, feel free to tell us about your disgust. lol. We probably won't tour much, other than a few spot dates here and there, but nevertheless, it is another installment of beats, raps, and melodies made with labor and love.

Realistically, it will probably release sometime in the summer so you can party to it or cruise to it (whichever your fancy).
