we are always looking for a good time so holla at us for your weddings, bar & but mitzphas, proms, BBQs etc...

ok, so i managed to make the trek from my hotel in uh, wack hollywood (Highland & Sunset) to cool Hollywood (over by the Whiskey & the Viper Room)....
 Fueled by frankie and Johnnies Pizza and  MGD no doubt, it was a trek that mostly involved putting up stickers and posters and handing out flyers for our album etc...

i leave early tomorrow and arrive late in NYC, being screwed by the perpetual motion of our earth and losing 3 hours and a Bartending shift in the mix.

It's been a great trip we got alot of work done at Chalice studio and spent the last 2 nights at THE MIX ROOM which was AMAZING!!!

Located in Burbank (warner bros. & NBC etc..) THE MIX ROOM is where alot of hip hop and rock stuff gets mixed but all we need is a little booth and a good signal chain so we where FINE. I liked the vibe better and  the outboard gear was  not even  explainable  in a simple blog. after a few technical  and political set back we  knocked out the work so quick, we where able to do some mixing and squencing that really made one song sound AMAZING. After a trip to the whip the producer was very ethused and we all felt really great about the work being done. - a side note while my assitant (thats right!) set up the session i did a little writing on our new number "Easy Tiger" (thank you very much) on the guitar that Filter recorded "awake on an airplane with", a great song and one of my father's fav of all time.

on this last day i finally ran the runyon valley park hill  (what up L)  with out stopping, took a nap by the pool, drank a throughly statisfying coffee smoothie and made the trek to cool hollywood.

now i am anxious to get back in MY studio in NYC, play with  Jordan, alter some of the vintage finds i made here and be back at home before i'm homeless as of june 1st, thats right REAL HOMELESS...... thats how we do up and down the life of an artist.

 I'll be fine of course and i believe we have some shows in june and a regular friday-night DJ gig to announce soon !!!

hello all !


................in an attempt to keep up with my blogging more frequently (at least when i have SOMETHING to write about) i'm coming live from Sunset blvd. and La Brea in hollywood. This cafe is actually one that me and my home girl Liv L'raynge checked our emails at back on our '03 warped tour travels (before the days of myspace). When we first hit the strip '03we drove down and pulled a u turn in a motel  which is ironically the one i'm staying at now ! weird but things always work like that in my life. Next time you find yourself  randomly in some situation or noticing something for no reason you'll be suprised whenst it's significance will prevail.


i'm here working in the studio on a mystery artists album (i get paid for my ability to be low-pro) and it's great to get away from NYC for a bit. I know you'll say "but you were on tour until like yesterday" but when you have the bug you just gotta get away !!!

we are working at chalice studios in Hollywood and it's a great spot to track vocals, at the moment the game and britney are in the complex as well, so i know i'm not just wild. I'm weening my self off serious marijuana addiction so it helps being away how ever 40s and marly's by the pool are just not much of an improvment.

other than knocking out some ILL vox everyday i've been running up in the hills (sweating my ass off) and hanging out at notorious spots like the viper room the standard and beauty bar BLAH BLAH BLAH....you all know thats not really my scene but i really have no choice at this point.

here's where y'all come in... i have a week or so left here and my sessions are all @ 6pm so i've become a bit sick with cable TV jogging in the hollywood hills and drinking 40s ... I NEED A GUITAR !!! or a ukiele or casio or anything.... i want to work on new songs but i forgot my guitar in NYC and all the engineers at Chalice are to afraid to lend me somthing for the time being.

If anyone in the LA area would let me borrow or rent a guitar or keyboard so i can  work some songs out in my hotel room (110 at the roadway inn  for the ladies) that would be dope hit me up  !

Eat to live or live to eat ?

Two of the band members and I recently moved into a new apt. In williamsburg brooklyn... We were all living together before so nothing has REALLY changed drastically. Still writing, recording as much as we can with our creating too many enimies.
But I digres...
The major improvment we've seen in the new "crib" has been the brand new kitchen. A wonderland compared to the dark, smelly fly infested brassire I had to work with at the former band house (which doubled as practice space and hosted a drum kit and no table).

I love to cook and have spent a fair of time pensivly inspecting produce recently. My band mates have been lucky enough to dine on home cooked specialties like...pesto pasta with cod, kale and acorn squash or Yucca with black Beans and Salmon. Last night I made Tuna Puttanesca that was a religious experience .

Now I know that a few of my housemates are concerned with the rush of calories they"ve been taking since the 15th or the mess I leave after I cook these edible masterpeices. I say eating is the basic of all needs that comes before even habitat.... And the food I make is "Healthy" ... Trust me that's all I know how to cook.
My point is small. I am here to promtote healthy home cooking, and community shopping. In new york it is so accepted to eat every meal out and we rely on the arab or latin delis to even make us sandwiches, and you know he can't make them as good as you could...

So where-ever you are, broke or rich, alone or together cook it down, its heatltier PLUS you can make it any way you want....
