gerade vom soundcheck in der kleinen westfalenhalle zurück.ganz schön groß die kleine halle. tour mit den sportfreunden ist riesig. clubatmo hin oder her, macht schonmal laune vor soviel leuten zu spielen.
lang ist es her seit dem letzten eintrag. gab nicht soviel neues zwischenzeitlich.
bin an der neuen platte dran. am freitag gehts nach österreich und dann wird die erste aufgenommen. yes!

This morning we shot my scenes for the new video for "good morning stranger".
jacobs ideas is to let friends all around the world shoot 40 minutes sequences of the sun rising. so far we we have "tai chi" in shanghai, a street corner in brooklyn and other short movies from prague, paris and vienna.
yesterday night from 1.30 to 8 in the morning we chased around munich searching for the right spot. i love to drive around at night, get out of the car, shoot for ten minutes and get back to the car. no big preparations, no make up no lights. very nice! at the end we found ourselves at the "englische garten" from 6.20 until 8 stuck on one place to get the sunrising even more impressive than ever before.
it was cold! don´t let the cold in. i know!
i´m excited how it turns out in the end.

Glad to come back with some good news.
First of all i´d like to announce the name of the new album, which is due for release in January 2007.
It´s called "the brilliant masses" and will contain 12 songs.


The first single "good morning stranger" will be released in November 2006.
There will be 3 unreleased non-album tracks as b-sides included.

Finally monta hits the road again. We´ve got a string of dates in Germany
