Hey guys! Hope you’re all doing well! Over here in Europe, things are going amazing. The tour is going so well...every show is sold out and the crowds are unreal! Playing these last shows reminds me why I dreamed of being in a band in the first place. It was about time we did a real tour: nothing beats the energy, the enthusiasm of playing live concerts. Thanks to everyone who came out to the shows so far and we look forward to seeing everybody else that’s coming over the next 3 weeks. And to all the fans outside of Europe...don’t worry...we’ve got a bunch of big tour announcements coming up...we’re coming to see you guys! We just announced a japanese tour and there’s a lot more coming!!

Now on to the big news of the day...We’ve got a brand new video coming out for the Your Love is a Lie. We just finished it and we’re all so happy with the results. Make sure you start looking out for it. I think it premieres on AOL tomorrow for all you guys living in the States and I’m pretty sure it will be on all the video stations and online starting tuesday. I really hope you guys will like it. Check it out and let us know what you think.

Alright, I’m off warm up. Almost show time here. Today we’re in Milan and then Barcelona...I’m stoked. It’s gonna be fun.

Later,

Chuck.

If you didn't get a chance to pick it up yet, please go get your copy online or at your fave store. We made sure to offer you guys the cheapest prize possible so you'll find it for 9.99$ in stores like Circuit City, Best Buy Wal Mart and Target, on sale at itunes and of course it's also available at a bunch of great indie stores and all over the web.

So there you have it....Thanks again for being the best fans ever and hope you guys like the album. Make sure you let us know what you think after you heard it...

Hey guys! What's going on? I'm in Washington DC sitting on a plane about to take off for Sao Paulo in a few minutes. I'm so stoked to go back to Brazil! We've been getting so many emails from fans over there....it's gonna be rad.

We played the Troubadour last night in LA and once again, we did 10 new songs from the new album. I really enjoy doing those special intimate concerts. It's still quite nerve-wreaking to play the new material but I think we did really well last night and in Montreal. It's sooooo good to finally play some new songs for you guys. Speaking of that, we've got some surprises coming at simpleplan.com...you're gonna be stoked! Head over there and check it out. Everyday we'll have new stuff for you guys.

I want to take the time to address something here. I get tons of messages asking us why we're not coming to this country or that city...etc and why we're not playing a lot of "real" shows on this upcoming trip. First of all, I want all you guys not to worry. It's not because we're coming to your country now and not playing a show that it means we're not coming back and doing a proper tour. Trust me, we're gonna be touring like maniacs over the next 2 years. We're gonna go everywhere and play tons of shows. I promise you guys. We've been away from the road for a long time and we can't wait to start playing concerts again....so please don't freak out cuz we're not coming to your country right away. We're not forgetting about anyone....we're gonna tour Brazil, Argentina, Chile and all over South America. We've been dying to visit places like Columbia, Venezuala, Costa Rica so we're make sure we book shows there....We're gonna come back and play real shows in Mexico, all over the US and Canada. We're gonna do huge european tours. We're gonna go down under to Australia and New-Zealand. We're gonna be back in Japan soon and everywhere in South-East Asia. We're gonna go back to South Africa. There's also a bunch of countries we haven't been yet that we def wanna hit: Russia and all of Eastern Europe, Dubai, Israel and tons more. The bottom line, we love what we do, we love travelling and playing shows and we want to go everywhere and play you guys our new record so we're gonna make it happen. You have been very patient and we appreciate it very much. We're gonna see you all very soon!

Anyways, I can't to see what you guys think about the new music. The coutdown begins....

We've been recording for like the last 14 months of our lives so today I figured I would take the morning and part of the afternoon off and do something a little different than being cramped in the studio and thinking about music. Which isn't all bad right?

There is a HUGE NASCAR event in Montreal this weekend. It's actually the first NASCAR race ever in Montreal and it's been all over the press so I had to go check it out. Our old buddy Sloppy Don, who is in town this week, is friends with Carl Edwards, one of the top NASACR driver right now and he was nice enough to give us this amazing all-access tour of what goes on during a race weekend. We were literally able to stand next to the car as it pulled into the garage. It would be like sitting on the bench at a hockey game! Sick! The cars were so loud, powerful and it was just insane. I can see why millions of people love it.

Carl, his crew, and his PR person Randy were so cool. They were so welcoming that it felt like we were hanging out with old friends. He gave us a great tour of not only the car and garage but also his team hauler, which is his version of a tour bus. It even had a spare car up in the top.

I always enjoy the chance to talk to people who have a passion in life, who follow their heart and are successful. He has a rad career and he's also into music. He plays guitar and you can tell he's actually really into it when we talked about writing, recording and touring. He even started his own label called Back40 records. Check it out: www.Back40Records.com. On top of all that, his number is 60, just like my good friend Jose Theodore, the goaltender for the Colorado Avalanche.

So in keeping with sports.... Last night was another great moment for me. I met the best hockey player in the world right now- Syd 'the kid' Crosby. After the studio, a few of us went to the W Hotel for a drink and as we were ending the night and about to walk out, in he came. I was nervous to walk up to him, but after awkwardly standing next to him for like 5 min (I'm such a loser...lol), I finally found the courage to say hi. We talked for a few minutes. He was was super nice and even knew the band. I can't believe he is only 19 and better than everyone else!

Wow, I sound like I should be writing for ESPN or something... Sorry about all the sports stuff....I'm turning into a real jock....so lame. Anyways, don't worry....I'm not forgetting about music at all. We're having an absolute blast recording and things are moving along fast as Pierre told you yesterday. David started a new bass track tonight for a song called Take My Hand.

Anyways, I am about to go pop back in and see how he is doing. Make sure to check out Carl racing this Saturday and Sunday on ESPN. www.carledwards.com. We will be there to see how it goes and hopefully have some cool photos.

Take care, sleep well, talk soon..

Chuck
