Hey everyone,

Just writing so you're all in the loop..

1) Where's the video for Thicker Than Blood? It's done. We are currently looking for the best web host to upload it so we can share with everyone and present it properly. Hang tight..

2) "TWO VANS, ONE TRAILER"  Tour? Yes. We are one of the featured bands on this East Coast tour (along with Roman Traffic) so you better come say hi to us! Check the main page for dates,

3) Merchandise - Yes, we have it. But we are almost sold out. We aren't sure if we'll continue or discontinue the current designs so if you want something, get it at our merch store or at a show, ASAP.

and finally..

4) Yes, it's true. We will be entering the studio again in early 2010 to record the follow up to the "Sounds of Rescue" EP. What can we say about the new stuff? It's more complex, dynamic and fierce. We are experimenting with new sounds, grooves and chord structures so it should be a very refreshing effort. Again, we'll be going to record at the Halo in Maine with our dear friend Jonathan Wyman. Stay tuned for updates.

Much love,
Rob, Dan, Bob, Maty, Deuce.

Current mood:  crunk

We're looking to form Keep Me Conscious street teams
and we need your help to do it!

Here's the deal:

We do what we do because we love it and we believe in it. If you love and believe in our music too, and would like to help get it into the hands and ears of more people, message us with "(your state) Street Team" as the subject. We'll send you promotional CDs, stickers, flyers, etc. to well....hit the streets with. At shows, at school, to friends, to friends' friends, if you've got an incredibly advanced pet that will be legitimately into us you could even push it to him/her/it.

What's in it for you?

Free CD, tee shirt, and guestlist for our shows in your area!

We're looking for serious inquiries only please. This will take some time and effort on your part, but if you believe in it and want to join us in our efforts, we'll be forever grateful.

And you get that free swag.

HIT US UP! We're lucky to have incredibly supportive friends and fans, and we'll hope to talk to you soon. Thanks to everyone for their continued support.

Love,
Bob, Dan, John, Rob, Maty

"When a band can produce vocal diversity through an album or EP, that says a lot. He (Bob Bowser) has the appeal physically, emotionally and ability to take me on an adventure throughout the storyline of any song. KEEP ME CONSCIOUS has a singer who delivers. The storylines throughout the EP are on a serious nature and he tells the story with emotion, which is an attribute that I love and adore in any band.

The band has been around for sometimes under the moniker of Cherry S/T and recently changed the band name to KEEP ME CONSCIOUS since they have revamped the lineup and the sound. There is no more conforming to the masses. This band is doing it on their terms and you can hear it throughout the songs. The poppy, rock attitude is laid out nice and tightly throughout the “Sounds of Rescue” EP.

THICKER THAN BLOOD was the song that intrigued me, wanting more. The song starts with a terrific guitar riff and shows off the poppy singing range, which interchanges throughout the song to show some different vocal angles. A very big sounding chorus.

CARS COLLIDED caught my ears. The intro has a dark, electronic feel with a delicate and profound vocal range with some sassy drumming, while still building up to make an explosive chorus. The guys have a poppy, melodic atmosphere to catch music fans, making them want more.

STUCK IN A MURDER SCENE totally resembles a Story Of The Year song. It has that heavier backdrop, energetic vocals (with gang vocals dropped in the right spots) and up tempos fueled with adrenaline.

SEE YOU AT THE BRIDGE has a sexual ambience to it. It’s not prominent but from the sound of the opening verses vocal pattern to the rock based sound, it just to me gives off a very flirty/sexy feel.

From 5 tracks, KEEP ME CONSCIOUS has sold me. If you are a fan of Story of The Year, I think you will be mightily impressed and a fan…  almost instantly."

The Surface – KEEP ME CONSCIOUS (Boston, MA) is a band that has created a distinct brand of modern rock. Break through the surface of infectious melody and you’ll find soaring guitar riffs complimented by chest-stomping bass and crushing drum work. With hints of ambience, pop and even metal, the band has sharply crafted their sound to steer and break through the monotone glaciers in the cold sea of modern music.

The Mission – When we started writing for KEEP ME CONSCIOUS, we were learning more about each other and ourselves than our very own instruments. Though it would be a bit predictable and quite the understatement to say that we love writing music, it’s the truth. Our main objective is that in its simplest form – create music that we love and believe in.
