I am currently in the studio working on a new album due for release next October if I manage to hit my deadline.
I wanna tell you about some of the highlights of this years festival season so far, Got to say my favorite festival I have played this year is Womad which was just crazy. Before I even put a record on the decks the crowd were just going mental and it was great to see all ages shocking out to a bit of Drum and Bass. By my reckoning there must have been at least 2-3000 people at my tent and it was just ridiculous but I got too involved in the moment to take any video damnit, I did however take some video at Bestival and many others and also I have a couple of video diarys to edit up when I get a chance. I wont leave it so long before I do a new Blog......

Current mood: contemplative
Yo.
I played Newcastle and New Quay this weekend. Both good gigs and both graveyard shifts :) But as Clipz says the graveyard shift is always good cause you can roll out. The weekend before this one I only played Fabric which was good. Sorry to the people in Poland that wanted to see me I was too ill to get on another plane after traveling 36 hours from Christchurch NZ a couple of days B4 and I had the flu.
Before that I was in Australia and New Zealand which was a real good experience. When I landed in Adalade with Jakes it was 42 degrees, which for me was hot but ok. DJing in that heat was crazy, the decks were too hot to touch. I was worried about my vinyl warping. Then we flew to Perth and hung out with Saran and Played NYE to 4000 People which was a real treat. Then off to Melbourne, Sydney and Wellington. After that was Aukland, Thanks a lot Dave for that one, Great club mate. It felt like playing at home here in Bristol. I have got to say I was really low at this point, I had the flu and I was smashed in with lack of sleep but Dave put us in the hotel with 82 separate items on the breakfast menu, 3 types of bacon and make your own waffles need I say more? We rolled in at 6 am after the gig to find this breakfast and it was the best thing ever :)
Then me and Jakes went to Christchurch for a week. Thanks to Andre for taking us around the place and the Winnebago's Chili Pesto Bread and thanks again to Andre for putting the NZ leg of the tour together. The Christchurch gig was great too :)
Well that just about wraps it up, hope you have avoided doing your tax return by reading this.
Peace T

Hello little update
Last weekend I was in Holland Playing just outside of Amsterdam and I have to say what a great place it is. Nice people, good atmosphere, good beer and an eco friendly transport vibe. got to watch out for the bike lanes :)
Big up the Black Sun Empire crew for their really nice hospitality and great gig.
I was in Brighton for a few days before that working with a guy called Tim Healey on some electro biz.
The week before that I was in Italy (Just outside Milan) and Austria, The Austria party was off the wall I think I ended up playing for two and a half hours as the next guy kept telling me to "keep going :) and handing me drinks" There is a wicked scene in Vienna - Austria. Apparently they have 2 drum and bass nights weekly in that club and the people were really open minded about the tunes too. But what made Vienna great was the sound system. The engineer after telling us about how he built the sound system proceeded to take me and Jakes to the front of the stage to show us the bass bins and I kid you not they were 12 foot deep, 4 of them, each with 2 22' bass cones and made of solid concrete!!! AHHHH BASS!!!!
Anyone into bass needs to go to flex in vienna

Just thought I would give anyone who is interested an update of what I have been up to lately.
I just got back from watching pendulum live for the first time, They totally smashed it it was great Big up!, I DJ'd after them and it was a bit of a strange setup to say the least cause I was DJing from the front of house mixing desk bit. But fuck that Pendulum Rocked!!
Last weekend I was in Italy and Austria, Big up all the Urban Artforms crew for another wicked party in Vienna.
The Weekend B4 that I was in Sheffield doing the last date for my live band this year and it was not as good as the first time we played at the plug but it was still running. Then on the Saturday I was in Foulmouth Uni student union with Paul from Pendulum. Some crazy biz in there big up the kiddie who's forehead I signed lol. I really wonder how long it took to wash off :) All week before the Sheffield gig I was working with D Ramirez on some collaborative work
Other highlights of late are the Maidavale Session for Fabio and Grooverider, All the Live Band dates, Moscow for World Of Drum And Bass, Inovation in the sun, Secret Garden Festival, Global Gathering Live, 10 Days Off Festival Live, Paris, Toronto and many many more....
Sorry I cant answer all your questions and things I just wish I had more time in the day.
Peace T
