Yes, Perms-fans, you can WIN your very own Perms Box-Set Collection!! This includes all 4 (four!) of The Perms CDs (Tight Perm, Clark Drive, Better Days and Keeps You Up When You're Down), a t-shirt (you choose the size & design) and a bunch of stickers. If you like, The Perms will even autograph all those CDs for you! Just send your name, e-mail address, and location (city and province/state will be fine) to theperms@theperms.com; it should look like this:

Well hello Perms-fans! I'm Dan the Merch-Man, and I've got some great news: The music video for "Give Me All Your Lovin'," first single from Keeps You Up When You're Down, is complete and ready for viewing!! Directed by Jeff "Broms" Bromley, the video follows The Perms around as they drive from gig to gig, rockin' out and havin' fun. Check out The Perms' MySpace video page and/or YouTube channel, and enjoy!

And speaking of new stuff, Podcast # 9 is up and can be heard on The Perms' Podcast blog page. This is a very special podcast because...well, because I'M in it! Yes, the guys are finally able to corner the notoriously shy Merch Man Dan and get a few words out of me; we discuss how I came to work for The Perms, and a few other things. It's pretty cool, check it out!

Finally, I've just been told that The Perms will be playing at The Red River Exhibition this summer! More details on that as they become available.

Hey everybody! It's Dan the Merch-Man, and I'm here to tell you that The Perms are Not Lame - more accurately, Keeps You Up When You're Down is available for purchase from Not Lame Recordings, which means that if you live in the USA you can purchase the album online from them. Also, The Perms are now distributed through C4 Records, a division of EMI; meaning that if you don't care to order music online, you can just walk into your favourite music store and have them order a CD copy of Keeps You Up When You're Down for you! How great is that?? Pretty great, I think.
And of course, all music by The Perms is still available on iTunes and CDBaby. So if you DO like ordering music online, go for it!

Hello, and good Lous Riel Weekend to you! I'm Dan the Merch-Man, and I have some fantastic news for all you Perms fans. Namely:
1. There are some new photos of The Perms in their album; check 'em out, they're pretty slick.
2. To count down to the release parties for Keeps You Up When You're Down, The Perms are offering one song from the album per week as a FREE DOWNLOAD!! Currently available is "As You Were," but in seven days that'll change to...well, who knows? Come back to the profile every week, and see!
3. Speaking of the KYUWYD release parties, they're happening in the first week of April. Check out the Show Dates for more details!

Prepare yourselves, Perms-fans, because The Perms are ready to release their fourth album, "Keeps You Up When You're Down," at the end of January. Yes, we are barely two weeks away, and I can't wait for it either! Keep in mind, though, we all will be forced to wait a little while for the actual release parties. The first is on Friday April 3 at The Cavern in Winnipeg, the second will be Saturday April 4 at Clancy's in Brandon. More details (time, guests, etc) to be announced.
Also, "Give Me All Your Lovin'," first single from the new album, is # 1 on the KICK.FM Top 40!! Many many thanks to all who requested it; keep it up! There are several people there you can e-mail, or just go with heyeverybody@kick.fm to cover all the bases. And speaking of "Give Me All Your Lovin'," the video should be released at the same time as "Keeps You Up When You're Down." Look for it on The Perms' YouTube page!

Happy Holidays, Perms-fans!  Dan the Merch-Man here, with holiday news from The Perms.
First and most importantly, The Perms' new album Keeps You Up When You're Down is currently being mastered in Minneapolis, and will definitely be ready for release in January 2009.  (Finally!! Am I right? Heh, just kidding, guys.) Of course, there'll be a proper CD release party to celebrate; in fact, there's going to be TWO!! They're tentatively scheduled for March - one for Winnipeg, the other for Brandon. Stay tuned for more details.
Besides a hard copy for stores, the album will also be released on iTunes soon after; just like the first single, "Give Me All Your Lovin'," which is available on iTunes right now. Follow this link and get a copy for yourself!
Speaking of "Give Me All Your Lovin'," the video has been shot and should be good to go by the end of January. Look for it on The Perms' YouTube and MySpace pages!
Now, you've all heard that The Perms have a podcast (go here to hear it), BUT did you know that they're also being featured on other podcasts? It's true! Troy Spiropoulos of LATalkRadio.com spun "Give Me All Your Lovin'" on his show last week; check out his page here and have a listen. Also last week, Mr. Suave's Mod Mod World did the same; go here and enjoy! Many thanks, you guys!
Also, it's worth mentioning that on KICK FM, "Give Me All Your Lovin'" has placed 54 on The Top 92.9 Songs of 2008!! Not bad for a song that's only been out for just over a month.
