Mes petites amies. Sacre Bleu! Mon Dieux! We your favorite Frenchies have finalement been tracked down by Etats Unis immigration! Determined to stay on and fight for liberté, égalité, fraternité but doomed to exile a l'etranger from our dearest loved Amerika, We woefully bid farewell au revoir to this star spangled nation of lore that we have called chez moi and splinter into the oblivion that is called abroad, a l'etranger, the rest of the god forsaken world. Whether we shall return rematerialize anew and reclaim our rightful place in the cannon of rock'n'roll revolution remains nebulous.
But fear not my dear brothers, one last performance remains, a final chance to make ends, close accounts, and celebrate Liberté, Egalité, Fraternité as never before! August 17th at the Black Cat we invite you cordially to the mainstage with Greenland and the Nunchucks to send us off across the Atlantic into the inexoberable unknown to our possible rebirth or certain demise!

First of all, thank you to all the fine males and females who came to the show last night, gave us kind words. and bought us shots of yeger. I don't even like yeger, but sure go ahead buy me yeger! If you didn't get a free CD please send an e-mail to letsfrenchdc@gmail.com stating your address and name. And I will personally mail you a copy of our 3 song demo (featuring two extra hidden tracks!). You know what, I'll even take care of the postage, wow what a deal! And thank to our comrades and brothers in arms These United States for playing the most amazing cumuloni bus jangle word pop for the absent minded hipster dream weaver this side of the Mississippi. And merci beaucoups to Washinton Social Club for rocking and rolling all night and partying everyday. And merci beaucoups to the Black Cat for letting us share the stage with two of our favorite bands and having the oppurtunity to exhibit our sacred art before all of your beautiful smiling faces!

Washington Post Gives Let's French Kind Words, Interpol Treatment:
We're big fans of the local Federal Reserve collective, which is home to some of this town's best alt-country/folk-pop/whatever you want to call it bands like Kitty Hawk, These United States and Revival. Holding up the rock wing of the Reserve is Let's French, a quartet that will probably get the Interpol treatment due to singer Randy Chugh's dramatic, deep baritone, but that plays songs that are punchier and less mopey than those fashionable New Yorkers. More recent New York buzz band Clap Your Hands Say Yeah might be a better reference point, and you can even hear a bit of treadmill power-poppers OK Go in the group's songs. Let's French takes the stage at Wonderland Ballroom as part of the the Federal Reserve's monthly first Thursday takeover.

Let's French has been in the studio cooking up an album! See for yourself:
When will the album be done? Lord knows!
Why isn't Tim in any of these photos? Because he's taking them!
Why are those amps in the toilet? Helps us record an outstanding album which we can't wait to share with you! ..>

Birds and Cats,
work on our album has begun. We may allow an occasional sneak peek on this page, but it will be momentary temporary extraordinary. A new number may emerge in the middle of the night only to disappear like covert revolutionary geurillas in the morning, or like gorillas in the mist, or like godzilla in the sea.......I'm no poet.
Shows shows shows, first on November 9th, Thursday, we play DC9 with Peelander Z, the epic Japanese comic book space band from NYC. And then, oh yes fine noble citizens, Black Cat Backstage November 29th, Hump Day, with your favorite band Deleted Scenes, and...the fine sounds of the lovely Mikal Evans.
Now back to the past, we must be thankful for those who have come before, who have stood like martyrs in smokey bars, waited untill 1:30am and subsisted off of schlitz, who had a cold metallic resolve in the face of grave danger and guitar feedback.
Comrades this is still our programme: fight!

And yes for the record we really are french, only we don't believe in bourgeois notions on ethno-nationality, so we speaks like fancy well to do americains, but our hearts are made of foie-gras:
