Well,
Although FTD is currently not playing, we are always talking about reasons to get back together and we are talking about a possible new tour. But, we won't be able to do this unless we have some feedback from our friends and anyone that would like to see us. All of us here in the FTD have remained very good friends. Please paste a comment on our comment board and let us know what you think. Please get all of your friends to post a comment on our comment board. Or, even look for Fredrick Dombrowski on facebook and let him know what you think.

Well it looks like as though the From This Day era is coming to an end. We've decided to call it a day for good. We have three final shows coming up on the 26th of this month in Butler, PA, the 27th in Buffalo, and July 25th in Norwood. Details will be posted soon.  So we hope on such short notice you could make it a nice going away party for us. We will be entering Watchmen Studios one final time to record our unrecorded stuff next week. There have been so many amazingly wonderful times in this band. We have been so incredibly blessed by everyone we met, every band we played with, and every show we've had. There are not enough thank you's in the universe that we could say that would ever echo our appreciation for everything that has been done for us! We will always love every moment we have had with you!

Love as always,

Andy, Allen, Fred, and Shawn.

From This Day is asking for your help in making the absolute worst mixed cd of all time. While we are playing on the road, we allways talk about the greatest worst bands of all time! At times, we have tried making really bad cd's just to laugh at. But now, From This Day is asking for your help in making the greatest worst CD of all time! THe only catch is that it has to be in the area of NuMetal.

Our previous CD's included such amazing terrible bands like

Disturbed, Limp Bizkit, Godsmack, Pappa Roach, Hinder, etc.

Please leave your suggestions. We promise that the best worst songs picked will be made into a cd and grulingly endured by From This Day for the mere enjoyment of our friends and fans! We will make a video of our dislike and laughing at these songs and happily post it for anyone!

As many of you are aware, China was recently hit with a devistating Earth quake killing a currently estimated 60,000 people. As you may look at our live photos from our recent China tour, the newest pictures in the China Tour Album depicts photos from our show in Chengdu, the capital of the province hit hardest by the quakes.

Shortly north of Cheng Du is MianYang. This is the place where we played our last show in China. Although we suffered a tour ending injury at this show, our friends at the Low Bar in MianYang took great care of us as we needed medical attention and places to stay until we returned to Beijing.

With the death toll reaching mammoth numbers, we would like to extend our most heart felt thoughts and prayers to all of our family and friends in China (as well as all the victims). We ask that all those not immediately impacted by this tragedy  locally act to donate aid and support for victims of the quakes.

And, we sincerely ask that any of our friends from these provinces please contact us to let us know that you are OK.

Please remember our thanks. You were an outstretched arm and an uncondemning voice while we were thousands of miles from home. Despite politics, ethnicity, culture, and nationality, you welcomed us into your hearts and homes. There are no words that we can possibly say to ease any possible greiving. But, please never forget that we grieve with you!

We love you very much!

Hello,

We are back from China! We had such a great time! Unfortunately, our tour was cut short. Halfway through the tour, we were playing a show and Andy hit me in the face with his guitar (it was a total accident) and broke my nose. I had received 20 stitches to my face by a doctor that didnt wash his hands and was smoking a cigarette the whole time! Then, he wanted to give me surgery and told me I had 5 days to rebreak my nose, our tour was scheduled for another week. This left us no choice but to cancel the remaining shows.

And, let me tell you, having to cancel the shows hurt more than the actual broken nose. We had such a great time, we had seen all of our friends and made new friends. The guys at the Low Bar (where I broke my nose) took such good care of us. Seeing all of our friends in HK was simultaniously wonderful and yet heart breaking because they are our friends and we can’t bring them back with us!

For everyone that came to our shows in China, we deeply thank you and love you and appreciate your support! For all the venues that had us, we thank you for giving us the opportunity to play. For Cool Rythm, we thank you for hooking us up with an amazing snare! And for all the people that we couldn’t see, we deeply apologize, but will work hard to make it back!

We also want to thank our tour manager Bob and his band the Squawk for being an amazing manager, taking care of us the whole time, never complaining. Bob, you are one of the best friends we can ever have! We all love you and thank you for what you have done!

We also want to thank Wane for working so hard to set up the tour and we are so happy we had an opportunity to spend time with you in Wuhan. We want to thank Ben for being one of the coolest dudes that we had ever met, and we want to thank YoYo for eating our shoes! We had such a great time!

Over all, this tour was a success although it was cut short. It was a success due to all the hard work of all of our friends. IF ANYONE HAS ANY PICTURES OF ME BLEEDING ON STAGE, PLEASE POST THEM!!! Andy shreds faces and I have the scars to prove it!

We deeply love all of you with all of our hearts!

From This Day is returning to China for a full tour next week and we want to take this time to thank all the people who set up this tour. Without their hard work and support, it would be impossible for us to return to such a beautiful place!

We want to thank Bob and all the LLNR crew for organizing everything in HK, as well as every aspect of the tour. Bob has worked so hard on this thing, he hasn’t slept in weeks. Bob has shed blood and tears for this tour. Bob, we love you!

Star Crossed Tattoo and the Pier for allowing the HK show.

Wane, Mai Dian, and Mickey for taking the time to set up every aspect of the tour, and you guys didn’t even ask for anything in return! Seriously thank you so much with all of our hearts! You are the embodiment of friendship and altruism!

Alex from Last Chance of Youth for getting the press & setting up the shows in Beijing & Tianjing

LULU from Guangzhou getting the sponsorship & promotion & shows

Cool Rhythm for the snare drum and sponsorship for the tour! You guys are great!

Painkiller Magazine for having an amazing publication and for advertising the tour in their magazine!

And most importantly all of our friends that we made on the previous tour that have been supportive of us and have encouraged us to return. We seriously love and miss all of you and can not wait to see you again! Just one more week and we will be back in China!

That’s right, we’ve created our own channel. There has been a substantial amount of live footage posted by friends and fans on the popular video viewing website, we thought we’d put it all in one place for your enjoyment. There will be more to come.....keep slamming!!
